A V I A N A

I clutched the sides of my phone as I used the other one to push open the door. The breeze hit me making chills run up my spine. I should've brought a sweater! The door closed behind me giving me that "no turning back" vibe. I kept re-reading the text. At the end of the text the colon and one letter kept me thinking.

- H

My hair was now put down, cascading down my ears.  It blew around from the slight breeze.  I walked past the parking lot and to the street.  It was around ten right now and curfew wasn't till another two hours.

I stopped and looked around.  Standing at the curve as cars passed by I tried finding a figure in the dark of the night.

From right across the street a bench was occupied by a broad figure shadowing because of the street light above and it wasn't that dark yet.  I may be stupid to walk to a random person at night, but it was better than staying in my dorm alone.

Giselle was still in Niall's dorm sleeping and when she's sleeping you never and I mean never wake her up.

I safely crossed the street aware of the ongoing traffic.  The bench sat perfectly in the middle of the clean cut grass giving a view of a park down the hill. My stomach was in knots, what if it ends up being some drunk man.  Ignoring my thoughts I stepped forward careful not to make noise just in case it was actually a drunk man.

As I came closer the view of the persons head became clearer.  Blonde hair shined and a black t-shirt came to view.  I stepped closer until I was at the edge of the bench, I recognized the face but, forgot the name.

"Um...hi?" I spoke still in thoughts of what his name was.  He turned around completely to face me, his lip piercing  gleaming from the light above us.

A smile played on his lips,"Aviana! Fancy seeing you here!"  I returned the smile but, felt bad for not remembering his name.

I shook my head nervously chuckling,"Er..I'm sorry I don't remember your name".

Lowering his head he shook it as he put a hand on his thigh,"Names Luke Hemmings". Yeah, he's from my Character Ed. Class!

Rubbing my neck awkwardly I spoke,"Sorry about that. I did-" he cut me off saving himself from my apologize,"It's fine!  It's good to know you're not keeping tabs on me!" He laughed.

I laughed along, until it quieted down and the noise of the cars passing by filled the air.  I glanced down at the park.  It was really pretty, it has a humongous slide going down making you land in the wood chips.

I held my phone tighter in my hand realizing why I came out,"Luke did you call me outside?" At the end of the text it says -H and his last name is Hemmings so it could be a slight chance it was him. But how did he get my number?

"Um..Luke did you perhaps send me a text?" It sounded really awkward considering I barely even talked to him. He looked confused and I knew it couldn't have been him. His confused facial expression turned into a slight smirk.

"Are these questions just a cliché way to get my number? Cause' I'm up for it," He laughed flashing his award winning smile.

Okay I guess it's not Luke.

I went to say something when Luke spoke up,"You can't back out now," he winked standing up from the bench,"I'll be back for your number tomorrow, for now I'll take my leave"

Down the hill by the park a shadow like image moved. Averting my gaze from Luke's icy blue eyes I gazed down to the park hoping to find any more movement, mostly to prove I wasn't going crazy.
