" Mama you gotta enroll me into another school" i told her.

They kicked me out of school again because they claim I distract the students. Its not my fault that they are all worried about me.

"Brook do you ever listen. What did I tell you to do if you ever had that problem. Get you ass up and come on." she said.

I was not about to give up my virginity just to stay in that dumb ass school. I put on the raggedy gym shoes I found outside and left out. It was hot this September in the A.

"Where am I going this time" I asked my mama. "Grady High School" she replied (A/N I think thats a real high school in ATL but Im not sure)

That was right around the corner. Well not literally but it was close by. Once we got there all the students looked at me. I pushed my curly hair behind my ear and followed my mama.

"Hi I would like to enroll my daughter here" my mom said. "Okay fill out these papers and bring them to me when your done."

After 30 long minutes I was finally enrolled. "Well Ms. Carter you are now enrolled. I gave you the same exact schedule as one of our student helpers. Her name is Breonna she should be here shortly" the secretary told me.

No later than 3 minutes a girl walked in. "Hi you must be Brooklyn" she asked. "Yeah" I smiled. "Well lets get to first block" she said.

I grabbed my ripped book bag and followed her around. "So our first class is Chemistry. Dont worry this teacher is super easy" she told me. When we walked in all eyes were instantly on me. I kept my hear down embarrassed. Knowing my cloths are pretty dirty since our washer is broke. But I didnt smell because I somehow someway mange to take a bath even though the water is cold.

"Damn has she ever heard or washing" some girl said. "Clothes as dirty as the dirt" she said. Everyone laughed except Breonna and another person.

"Okay everyone that's enough. Ms. Jones detention after school. Bullying is not allowed in my class room.

As much as I wanted to cry I didn't because I got accustomed to it. I just took a seat and payed attention in class.

Right now it was lunch. I had been to 5 classes with 1 left. I had been with Breonna all day. Guess she was my only friend here.
"So Brook I only talk to two people in this school and their names are August and Cameron. They are like really cool so were gonna sit with them for lunch" she explained to me. I just nodded and followed her.

When we got to the table there was a guy who had tattoos everywhere. He was kinda cute too. Then there was another one with tattoos and just as fine.

"Aug and Cam this is my new friend Brooklyn she started here today." she told him.

"Sup ma" they both said. I just did a small wave. "Im sorry about my girlfriend in first block" August said.

"No need to its okay Im used to it" i replied.

"So how old are you" he asked "17 going on 18 next year" I said

"I have to ask what are you mixed with" Breonna asked.

"Umm white black and Latino" I replied.

"Wowwww" was all she said.

It was now 5 o'clock and I was outside waiting on the mail. My check comes in from the government and there disability checks. If I dont get the money then they will just use it all up for there next high. Once I received it I went upstairs to hide them. I cooked m a pack of noodles then hit the sheets.
