I woke up earlier then usual since my whole body was in pain. I didn't fall asleep until late last night. I carefully got off of the air mattress I sleep on since my parents took my mattress. I looked in my bathroom mirror thankful that I only have a busted lip. I started the shower making sure it was warm. I stood there for at least 15 minutes so my muscles could relax. Then I quickly washed up and got out. I quickly went to find a clean pair of underwear. I was down to my last pair with no detergent.  I had to wear the same pants from yesterday because I have to sew my other pants.

Sighing I thought of my life. This is not what I thought I would be going through at age 17. I grabbed my book bag and walked out the house. I started my journey to school. As I was walking I looked and seen the same black challenger from yesterday.

"Aye ma hop in" August said. My feet were hurting so I decided to get in. "Wassup NY" he said. "Hey Nola" I said softly.

I heard a J.Cole song on the radio and bobbed my head to it. J.Cole is my absolute favorite rapper. Before my parents went broke basically he was all I listened to.

"You hungry" he asked. I shook my head no not wanting to use his money. He pulled up to a McDonald's and ordered.

"Let me get 2 mcgriddles with no eggs, 2 hash browns and 2 large caramel frappes with extra caramel drizzle and no whip cream" he said. "Your total is 22.87 please pull up to the next window" the lady said through the intercom.

I just sat there through out the whole process. "Here NY" he said. "I told you I wasn't hungry" I said frowning. "I heard ya stomach growling no need to lie ma" he said. I sighed and decided to eat anyway.

"What happened to yo lip NY" August asked. "I uh bit my lip real hard last night" I lied. He just looked at me like he knew I lieing.

"Mama you really not gone watch Camryn  for me" I said referring to me and Cameron's 4 year old daughter. We had been together since 9th grade. We gave our virginity's to each other . But us being young and dumb I got pregnant with our baby girl.

"I told yo dumb ass when you got pregnant I wasn't about to be no babysitter" she said rolling her eyes.

"Fuck you man" I said. I had to hurry and get me and my baby outta here. "Cammie put your white forces on" I said packing her a bag. I texted Cameron and told him to ask his mom if she can watch her. Of course she said yes cause she understands I'm trying to finish school. Once my baby came downstairs I left out. Swear I can't stand my momma.
