England sat in his room. Today was the day he always locked himself away. July 4th. Americas birthday. England watched the ceiling trying not to cry, the memories just kept flooding his mind. Finally, the dam broke. He buried his face in a pillow and silently cried.

England jumped when his door flew open. With tears still in his eyes, England looked up to see America in the door way. "Iggy dude are you...crying?" England blushed and put his face back in the pillow "no go away" America frowned, he knew why England was upset and that's why he came. He sat next to England and hugged him. England didn't move he was surprised America did this.

"I'm sorry Arthur, I know why you upset and I hate that its because of me" England hugged back and silently cried in Americas shoulder. "I love you.." America whispered hoping England wouldn't hear, but he did. "I love you too" he mumbled in Americas chest. A comfortable silence fell over them as they sat there in each others arms.
