Toni felt ALONE by herself as she laid on the ground. Breathless. Her eye lids slammed closed as she feel into a deep sleep.

Present

"Will she be alright?" Babyface questioned.

The doctors rushed Toni towards the emergency room, as Babyface stood by her side the entire time, holding onto her soft hand.

"We can't give that type of information just yet." One of the nurses said.

Babyface had this feeling at the bottom of his stomach that he didn't like at all. They rushed Toni into the emergency room. Stopping Babyface as he thought he was about to enter.

"Am sorry sir. But this is family only." The nurse sternly spoke.

"I am family. I've know that woman almost all my life. And you wanna tell me family only."

"Are you her husband?"

"No... But-"

"Brother?"

"I am like a brother to her."

Not one word wad said by the nurse then. She immediately let him in threw the door to stand at Toni's side.

Meanwhile back with the sisters. Keri came rushing threw the entrance door of the hospital.

"Is Toni okay? Can I go see her?" He asked the sisters not allowing any greetings to be said.

"We don't know yet." Mommy Evelyn said sadly.

"She go'n be alright, the blood of Jesus! And plus she's with Babyface." Tamar teased.

"She's with who?" Keri questioned. "Why is he even with her? Am suppose to be in there with her-"

"According to some documents and signatures on pieces of papers. Yall ain't together anymore. She a single woman. And that is her best friend with her in there." Tamar sucked her teeth, looking Keri straight in his face.

Tamar wasn't afraid to say things others were afraid to say. She spoke her mind and that's something not a lot of people do!

Keri threw his hands up in defense as he backed away. "Alright. Alright." He stood there frowning.

"I hope she's okay." Trina spoke, pacing the floor.

"Girl stop. You go'n make me lose my mind Trini." Tamar sat down, with trembling legs.

Babyface held onto Toni's hand as the doctors stood aside. Toni was finally resting after they had removed the tiny particles of glass out her left arm.

"For now, she will be fine." The doctor spoke.

Causing Kenny to look up at him sternly. "For now?" He arched his brows.

"Yes. She's not fully recovered but she's alright." The doctor left the room to Babyface and Toni alone.

Babyface fell back into his chair, holding tightly onto Toni's hand. "I shouldn't have let you leave. I shouldn't have. I was stupid! This is all my fault!" He placed his face in the palm of his hands. Tears started to swell up in his dark brown eyes.

"It's not your fault Ken." He heard a familiar weak voice say.

Looking up, he had noticed that Toni was awake.

"Yes it was. I should have never went that far. The fact that I kissed you. Already tells me that our friendship will forever be scared." He said. Toni held out her hand as he took it in his.

"No it won't. You will always be my best friend Ken. No matter what. Because you've always been there for me. You've always comforted me in the most dangerous and sad situations." Toni cried.

"If you hadn't stopped and walked out that very moment. Everything would have happened so fast. Like sex..." Before he could go any further Toni covered his mouth with her hand.

"You shouldn't be in here, what if Nicole-"

"Your important right now. You almost died Toni. I could have lost my best friend...again." Toni smiled.

"Well thank you for caring Ken."

"No... Thank you for stopping us from what we were about to regret." They both smiled. Leaning in for a hug.
