Magnus ' s POV

It's been 2 weeks since Jace called me to tell me that Alec had left. 2 weeks since my dearest shadow hunter has been missing.

I was sitting in the library when Maryse and Robert walked in. They don't know about Alec. Thanks to the weird stuff going on in Idris, they couldn't receive any of our messages. " what is this about?" Robert asked. " And were is Alexander?" Maryse added. "That is actually what we are here to talk about," Jace started " Alec, Izzy, and I got into an argument about Alec spending too much time with Magnus and not enough time training. That ended with Alec storming out. Izzy and I figured that he'd just go to Magnus's. Little did we know that Alec had come back to the institute because he didn't want to stay at Magnus's party while he was trying to study. Later that night we called Magnus to make sure that Alec had gotten there alright, only to learn that he never showed up at all. So for the past 2 weeks we all have been trying to fine Alec and contact you 2." Once Jace had finished his long winded speech, Robert and Maryse looked around the room at the ashamed faces of the three of us.

"Have you tried tracking him? or i don't know like a transporting spell. or something." Maryse asks. We all nod. I really wish Jace would just tell her. There was no need to hold this out any long.

"There is another thing you should know," I started. "2 weeks ago, Jace felt a sharp pain in his neck and passed out. When he woke up his parabatai rune was white." Robert looked as if he didn't understand, but Maryse started crying as soon as the words had left my mouth. "I l-lost both m0my sons!" She cried out.

Maryse lost her last son. Jace lost his parabatai. Izzy lost her second brother. And I lost the only boyfriend I'd ever considered truly having a life with.
