Country Princess

Chapter 6

"Come on dork, this way!" Leo said pulling me in the other direction.

"Yea! This way" Oliver said grabbing the other hand and pulling in the opposite direction.

"Make up your minds on two things! One my name, and two the direction we are going!" I exclaimed at both of them "You are hurting me!"

"Aww we have a little wimpy princess!" Oliver exclaimed pulling my arm to the left

"Yea! Toughen up!" Leo said pulling my other arm to the right

"I am tough! I just like my limbs to be kept together, not torn apart!" I said trying to wriggle free.

When I finally got myself free, I dusted myself off. I pulled out my tubing for my pump and started playing with it(and dusting it off). I totally forgot only one of the princes knew I was diabetic. Leo did, but Oliver didn't. It was kind of awkward when he was staring at me with this confused expression on his face. I shrugged it off and started walking away to go find Carly, Derrick, and Emily. I looked all round the ballroom and didn't find Carly, Derrick, or Emily. That's weird, I thought they would be out here having a good time. I went into to the kitchen to see of they were there, and sure enough they were there baking.

"Why are you guys here baking?" I said confused

"I don't know it just seemed like a good idea" Emily said

"And how did you get in here so fast?" I said pointed at Leo and Oliver "You guys were right behind me and you wer...."

"Yea we knew they were in the kitchen that's why" Leo informed me

"Then why didn't you tell me?"

"It was fun watching you go around in circles on the dance floor you looked lost" Oliver said through hysterical laughter

"Uh huh so funny." I said sarcastically. "You guys are all just so mean."

Carly, Emily, and I poured ingredients into a bowl and mixed them to make frosting, while Leo, Derrick, and Oliver got the ingredients out and messed up the frosting. When the cupcakes came out, there was no frosting to put on them because the boys messed it up. Well actually we all did because Leo started the whole thing by wiping a handful of mint colored frosting all over my face. I wanted revenge and so I went after him and accidentally got Oliver and Carly instead. So yea you can imagine what war we had, we were just lucky none of the chefs came in. Or my parents. That would have been bad.

After we cleaned up the mess we made another batch of frosting and cupcakes. Yes the hot vanilla and chocolate cupcakes became part of the war too. Please don't ask just go with it. Yes some of the pieces of our skin got scalded by the burning chocolate. When finished making the frosting and and cupcakes I heard Emily say something.

"We need baby almonds to put on top of them!" She said excitedly

"Why would we put almonds on it?" I said laughing really hard

"Yea why" Oliver said laughing also

"I don't understand I'm sorry" I said along with everybody but Oliver. Well we were all laughing while saying it too so.

"I don't know it just thought it would be a good idea.." She replied back kinda sad sounding.

"Besides we don't even own any almonds" I suggested so she didn't feel so bad

"Oh "

I turned around and walked over to to Oliver. "Are you going to stop laughing now? Or like..."

"No why would I?" He informed me

"Because tears are streaming down your face and you're going to pee your pants from laughing. That's why Oliver, that's why" I said like an adult. Well I guess you could say I was scolding him. Or just informing him on the obvious. Either one, although it was probably more like the second one.

The ball soon ended at 11:00pm. It seemed like the time went by so quickly. Soon the big castle was completely empty and quiet, except for the cooks cleaning things in the kitchen. Well I shouldn't say completely empty, my friends parents have important business to do for a few days or weeks so we are watching them. We were all running around on the dance floor, when we heard a big clatter in the kitchen. I sprinted over to the kitchen to see the cooks throwing pots at each other and yelling. I quickly looked around the room and saw Olivia trying to escape the kitchen.

"Olivia! Wait for me!" I said practically screaming at the top of my lungs. The cooks didn't even hear me.

Nothing dead silence. Wherever she was going, she sure was in a hurry. So I followed her.

How was the Chapter? And yes I am still living but like I have said I am busy. Since it is break i will be writing and hopefully updating more. Yay!
