THE ATTACK

The hikers walked through the woods on their seemingly peaceful outing. They had been planning this for weeks and were all full of energy for their day out with friends.

Thats when they heard the screams.The horrible blood curdling screams that echoed thru the forest.

"what was that." the guide said looking around. they topped a hill and looked down as their eyes processed the horrifying scene in front of them......

The bodies were scattered below in a small clearing only three of the nine had survived and they were bleeding badly.Their clothes were torn and filthy, twigs and leaves hung in their disheveled hair. they rushed to the group babbling. "they came out of nowhere." one wailed while another whispered "those eyes those horrible red eyes." the last uttering " they must be rabid ". Sudenly they froze in terror. The air was suddenly thick with the stench of rotting meat,and unnatural red eyes circled the group.

"RUN" someone shouted. and they bolted. about half a mile from the parking lot they slowed unaware of their pursuers. the silent beasts followed still ravenous with hunger. The pack slunk hidden from view waiting,watching,hoping for someone to fall behind...
