Freya's Apartment

Freya sat in her apartment living room, reading through a few ancient spell books she'd collected over the centuries of her lengthy life. She was sure the spirit of the true owner Rebekah's new body was reawakening and was desperate to stop the witch from over taking her baby sister. She smiled to herself when she found the perfect spell, if it was performed correctly she would be able to banish the body's original soul forever or at least place it in a new body. She went about making a list of herbs and other ingredients she would need and hurried out of her apartment.

The Other Side of the River

Rebekah argued with Elijah and Klaus on a three-way call as she walked through a witchy version of a farmer's market. She ended the call just as she noticed the strange looks a scruffy blonde man was giving her. When he purposefully bumped into her, she scoffed, "Well excuse you." and walked off in a huff. A weird feeling came over her when two more strange men bumped into her, glaring at her as if they knew her. Then it occured to her, What if they did? What if they knew the witch who's body Rebekah was residing in? What if they had some sort of violent conflict with her? Rebekah's heart raced as fear flooded over her. She knew nothing about magic and she was alone and defenseless.

Desperate to get away she hurried off in any direction, glancing back and becoming frantic when she saw them following her. Pushing past dozens of people, Rebekah ran around a corner and her heart dropped when she realized she'd hit a dead end.

She bravely turned to face the two men. "What are you two looking for? Besides a smack in the jaw?!" She yelled with a quivering voice. One of the men wore a dark smirk. "You will die for what you've done." He said as they slowly stepped toward her.

"Get back!" Rebekah yelled at she flicked her hand toward them. To her surprise, magic shot through her and pushed the men back. She took the chance and ran between them. The second man recovered and mumbled a spell, bringing Rebekah to her knees, crying out in pain.

"Stop it! It hurts!" She cried. The men stood up and the first man waved his arm, knocking Rebekah out with a spell. "Now she'll paid for what she did to my daughter and to your son." The first man said to his friend. The second witch only nodded, hatred burning in his eyes. They had no idea the witch they once knew was gone and her body was home to the spirit of Rebekah Mikaelson.
Just as they were about to pick her up, Marcel appeared in front of them. "Stop." He said in a demanding voice. The witches turned and before Marcel could move a muscle, they said a cloaking spell. The witches and Rebekah disappeared before his eyes. "No." He whispered to himself. Fear gnawed at the pit of his stomach, not just for Rebekah but for himself when the rest of the Mikaelsons found out.

The Mikaelson  Compound
"What do you mean witches took Rebekah? Why didn't you stop them, Marcel?" Klaus shouted, in a rage after hearing the news about his baby sister's abduction. He moved toward Marcel but Elijah stepped between them, stopping his volatile brother in his tracks.
"Now explain to me how this happened Marcel? Who are these witches you speak of?" Elijah asked calmly. "I'm sure this is just a part of Freya's plan. I know that little witch had something to do with this! She's working with Dahlia!" Klaus snapped, accusing their long lost sister.
Elijah rolled his eyes. "Freya is our only advantage over Dahlia. I doubt she'd risk us turning on her by taking Rebekah. This is the work of someone else." Elijah deducted. Klaus growled his disapproval and stormed out of the compound, determined to track down Freya and prove he was right about her.
The Cell
Rebekah slowly came to, her head pounding as she sat up. She'd been laying on a cold, concrete floor for the better part of four hours and her human body ached.
She glanced around, noticing dark gray metal bars and three pale gray walls surrounding her. She was chained to the floor of an old jail cell. Around her wrists were a pair of dark shackles, dark objects meant to stop her from using magic. She stood up and began to search for a way out but a soft chuckle made her freeze in her tracks.
"There's no way out." A woman laughed. Rebekah turned and spotted a scrawny young woman with black hair, large grey eyes and pale skin. "Who are you? Where am I?" Rebekah asked warily, trying to sound strong and intimidating. The woman smiled and did a playful bow. "I'm Vivian Kane. And this is the Cell." She said. "The Cell?" Rebekah asked. "A place where the nine witch covens bring those who have abused their power and wronged the covens in the worst ways." Vivian said. Rebekah felt her heart begin to pound in her chest. She hadn't done anything but what about the rightful owner of her new body? "But I haven't done anything." Rebekah said, hoping to gain some information about her new body's previous owner.
Vivian's eyes widen in disbelief and sadistic humor. "You haven't done anything?  Honey, you're as bad as they come. Maybe even worse." Vivian said. "How so?" Rebekah asked, excited at the prospect of finding out who this body really belonged to. "You're Eva Sinclair, the child killer. You've been kidnapping and murdering kids from the nine covens for three years now. I have no idea how you escaped that witchy but house but you're really not too smart. You should have left Louisiana when you had the chance. You're going to die a horrible death here.

Rebekah's heart caught in her throat. She was inhabiting the body of a child killer! "No, no, no. I'm not Eva Sinclair, I mean this is her body but I'm not her! My name is Rebekah Mikaelson and my bastard of brother, Kol, stuck me in her body. He died before he could put me back in my own body." Rebekah blurted out. Her heart was racing and beads of sweat formed on her forehead. Vivian only shook her head and laughed, not believing one bit of Rebekah's story. "Cool story. You're still gonna die. And if they do kill you, then you'll just return to your own body, won't you?" Vivian said. Rebekah paused. She hadn't thought about that. Before she could respond, one of her captors appeared.

"Shut up! No talking amongst the prisoners." He ordered. "Oh give it a rest, Marco. We're not prisoners, we're awaiting a horrible, gruesome death at the hands of the covens." Vivian smirked as if the prospect of a horribly painful death didn't bother her one bit. But Rebekah couldn't resist the urge to try and reason with Marco. "Marco, sir. There's been a mistake." Rebekah started but was interupted by the man's immediate rage. "Don't you dare speak to me, you wretched bitch! You killed my son! He was an innocent child and you killed him in cold blood!" Marco screamed, inflicting a pain spell on Rebekah before she could explain who she really was. She blacked out from the pain. At least she did spiritually. As Rebekah lost consciousness, the spirit of Eva Sinclair awakened.

She blinked slowly as the pain faded away. Time had passed and she noticed she was in the death chamber of the Cell. Eva had been there once before when she'd been caught sacrificing a child from the fourth coven. But she'd escaped by using her charms and seduction to get close to Marco and tricked him into believing her innocence. Then she'd killed his son and he'd been after her ever since. But what Marco didn't know was that the four children they'd assumed she'd killed was still alive and locked away for safe keeping.

Eva noticed the dark shackles weren't around her wrists and used the opportunity to set the room on fire. Then using a cloaking spell, she hid herself from prying eyes and hurried towards the exit, a door disguised as a fireplace. Noticing Vivian, a young witch she'd heard of during her time in the French Quarter. She waved her hand and unlocked the cell door holding her. Vivian smirked and dashed out of the cell, heading towards the door. The frenzied screams of the coven witches could be heard and they made Eva laugh to herself. She was about to rain down Hell itself on them for attempting to kill her then she was going find out who had been inhabiting her body and get her revenge on whomever had for he or she there in the first place.
