Chapter 3

Tris's POV

Four gave a scared look to Zeke when he was asked C or D. I don't know why. However, he still said, "Dauntless". Zeke just smirked and gave me a look. Great, so I'm involved in this dare. "I dare you to play seven minutes in heaven with Tris." Oh my god! I might actually get Four to have a long conversation with me. I'm kinda excited, but I hide it. If he doesn't feel the same way, it'll be humiliating. Lauren looks at me with anger in her eyes, and she tries to trip me. However, I manage to jump over her foot at the last second. We go into the room, and sit. "So...." He says. Well this is gonna be one of those awkward moments where one person likes the other, but the feeling is not mutual. "So..." I said in return. "Oh, fuck it." He says and then the next thing I know, his lips are brushing against mine. I feel sparks fly, and he deepens the kiss. I pull apart cause I don't feel comfortable taking it too far. Especially not after what happened last time. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. Now things are gonna be awkward cause now you know I like you. I'm really sorry." Why wouldn't I like him? "Four, stop. I like you too." He stared at me with excitement in his eyes and a big smile on his face. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asks. "Of course I would." He smiles and kisses me again. I hear everyone yell for the time, and we get up and leave. Of course, we make sure that we don't take long, but we don't look like we made out either. When we walk out, Four pulls me onto his lap. I sigh and sit there with Lauren shooting daggers at me. What is up with that? If he doesn't like you and you know, you shouldn't push yourself onto them. "So... what went on in there?" asks Christina, while wiggling her eyebrows. I just look at her and say, "We are dating now." Then I look directly at Lauren. I hope she understands now that she can't just keep flirting with Four. I then look and see that we have been playing this game for about 2 hours. "Shit! I have to go. My parents will kill me if I don't get home!" I said. It is 11:30pm and my curfew is like 9pm. I left with Christina at about 7pm, so I figured that the party wouldn't last this long. I jump up from Four's lap and run to the door. I then run home which is apparently not far from here cause I only have to run down the street. I look to see if any lights are on and I see that there is one in the living room. Great. That means my dad waited up for me.  I slowly make my way to the front door and open it. "Where the hell have you been?!? It's two hours past your curfew!" screams my father. "I was just down the road with some friends playing Candor or Dauntless. We didn't do anything. I lost track of time, but I came straight home when I saw that it was past my curfew. I'm sorry." I say and bow my head in shame. I will never be perfect like my brother, and my parents know that. "You're grounded. I don't want you going anywhere this weekend, or anyone coming over. You know why we have this rule. Last time you stayed out past 9:30pm, you went crazy. You were out of control. " Seriously! "This wasn't like that! I'm not hanging with the wrong crowd anymore. I have nice friends. They're good kids. They aren't like Sam and her friends." I scream at him. I can't believe he thinks I am doing that again. I learned my lesson from last time. I won't be hanging out with people like that again. "Whatever, Beatrice! Until you learn to tell the truth or I see some proof of these supposed good friends, then you are grounded. End of Story." I scream and run up to my room. I make one mistake and apparently the whole world ends. Wow. My dad doesn't even trust me. 

Four's POV

After Tris runs out, we sit there and play for a few more minutes. Then decide to just call it a night.  I couldn't get the look on her out of my mind. I decided that should text her. 4~ hey. are you okay? T~ yeah, I'm just grounded again. 4~ I'm really sorry Tris. We shouldn't have asked you those questions. T~Don't worry about it. I gotta go. Bye. 4~See you around Tris. I can't believe she is grounded. It wasn't even that late. I'm still curious though. What happened that was so bad that she can't tell us?
