Chapter 19

Kayden's POV :

After a few weeks of me and John going out my grades had gone up allot and I was actually starting to make friends, I couldn't stop telling him he was my savior. Right when I thought everything was perfect it went sour. I was sitting in science and a police officer popped his head in the room and called me out. I froze when I saw John in handcuffs in the hall way and he was hiding his face, his shoulders jerking slight with small sobs, I glared at the officer and he told em that ex on school grounds was illegal and that he would be put in jail for sexual assault because I had no parental consent, my hreat sank before my eyes brightened a shade and a miracle happened.

" JOHN IS NOT A PEDOPHILE I CAN PROVE IT... I'M 19 IN THIS STATE A MINOR NEEDS CONSENT....I'M NOT A FUCKING MINOR.... MY PARENTS ARE DEAD SO I WOULDN'T NEED THERE FUCKING CONSENT.....PLUS WE NEVER DID SHIT ON SCHOOL GROUNDS... THE ONLY THING YOU COULD HAVE ON TAPE IS KISSING SO DON'T TRY TO PAWN SHIT OFF... GET HIM OUT OF THOSE HAND CUFFS AND STEP AWAY FROM HIM I AM SICK AN DAMN TIRED OF PEOPLE HURTING THE ONES I LOVE..." my eyes flooded with tears as I realized my voice had echoed through the halls, but also that I didn't stutter even once.

" K-kayden" John uncovered his face and looked at me suprized, I hear the classroom door across the hall and behind me start to open and I turned around.

"CLOSE THE FUCKING DOOR AND KEEP TO YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS..." I turned back around and eyed the officer viciously "... you cuffed a man because he loves some one.... you want respect from citizens you earn it... "

I saw as they un-cuffed him and john nearly crushed me in a hug, I flicked off the cop and the principle and kissed him back lovingly before pulling back and smiling softly . He smiled back and wiped away my tears.

"You fixed me John" I whispered"...I-i'm all better now..."

"I love you Kayden.. and one more thing" he turned to the principle "I quit... I have a guaranteed job as a teacher at a University...."

How cliche our story ended, but gladly it ended well. I love john with all my heart, he is my savior, he is my everything. To those who are afraid to love someone, don't be. If you work hard enough, you can find yourself as well as them.
