I was moving quickly around my room trying to get ready for the schools dance. It was a Cinderella type of dance so we had to wear big puffy dresses and stuff. My mom had sent me a dress it was black a kind of puffy and a corset. I already had my corset on and I was just finished tightening it when there was a knock on the door.

I froze and looked at Caroline. "Who is it?" I asked her. "It's Kyle. He came early. But I'm ready so I'll see you there" she said hugging me and walking out the door. Jaymi said that he's going to pick me up a quarter to 8 and it was almost time. I put on my dress and some black heels.

I put on makeup and did my hair to have soft curls. I was putting everything away when the door opened and a pair of arms were around my waist.

"You know you should really lock your door" Jaymi whispered in my ear. I turned around and placed my hand around his neck and smiled.

"I'll check into that" I said kissing him passionately. He smiled during the kiss tightening his grip on my waist. "Why can't we just stay here and not go to the dance?" He asked frowning at me. I smiled. "Because I'm already dressed. And you look good in a tux" I said looking him up and down.

"And you look magnificent in that ball gown" he said leading me out of the dorm. I locked the door and took his hand. He guided me out of the building and towards the party hall.

I felt a kiss on my cheek and looked up at Jaymi. "I can't randomly kiss my girlfriend?" He questioned making me blush.

"No. I just wasn't expecting it" I said. He rolled his brown eyes and gave the ticket guy out tickets. I didn't realise we were here until I heard the classical old school music.

"May I have this dance?" Jaymi said. He bowed and placed his hand out towards me. "Oh you may" I said placing my hand on his. He smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist and I placed a hand on his shoulder. He spun me around and swayed me. I looked around and looked at the decorations.

It was beautiful. It was set up like a real palace dance hall. I smiled laying my head on my boyfriends chest. It felt magical. I felt his hands tighten protectively around me as he twirled me. "What's the matter?"

I asked quietly as he looked above my head. I heard him growl and he started guiding me away from the dance floor. He guided me through a door and looked down at me.

"What's going on?" I asked. He locked the door and his eyes seemed to darken. He bit his pink lips and looked around. I was confused as to what's going on.

He kept looking at me a mix of emotion on his face. I placed a hand on his cheek making him look at me. "What's wrong?" I asked. His eyes watered a bit. I have never seen him cry.

He grabbed me in a hug. "They're going to take you away" he said. I felt his tears on my shoulder. "Who's they?" I asked. "I haven't told you this but I'm not normal" he said. "You're my mate. And I'm a werewolf" he whispered taking a step away from me. I stood frozen and looked terrified at Jaymi.

"I'm so sorry" he said sobbing. He tried to grab me but I moved out of the way. "Who's trying to get me" I asked. "My enemy tribe. I'm alpha of my pack and they want to take you away from me" he said.

I looked sadly up at him. "I can't live without you now that I found you" he said wiping tears away. "I'm sorry. But I just can't...do this" I said sadly. I wanted to rush out but he grabbed me.

"Please. I love you. I need you. I could die without you. Please, I'm begging you. I'm so sorry I've been lying to you. I would never hurt you. But please I need you" he said. I knew he was trying to tell the truth but my brain didn't want to listen. I stared a him. It was just so much to take in and I didn't know if I could handle it.
