Wait so you're saying fortune cookies were actually invented in San Francisco?" Connor asks you.
You nod taking a sip of your drink, "Is you mind blown?"
Connor nods, motioning his head exploding with is hands. You laugh with Connor when Jc suddenly walks in the room sitting down on the couch next to you. "What are you two even laughing about?"
You feel your face heat up and your stomach flip, but you kept a cool face, "I just blew Con's mind with an amazing fact,"
Connor looks at his watch, getting up from the couch, "I gotta run, guys – I'll see you tomorrow, Kyra!" You wave him goodbye and take the glass up to your lips.
"When are you going to start telling me fun facts?" Jc says jokingly, grabbing your glass from you hand and taking a sip.
"I'll make a special list of fun facts just for you, Jc, don't worry," You say crossing your legs on the couch. You stared at Jc's face, his warm chocolate eyes on yours and his brown hair sticking out of his green beanie.
"How about I take you on a date, and then you can tell me all the fun facts you can find?" he says, smirking and looking down for a second.
A smile builds on your face, "Its a deal." You say taking your glass back and giving him a quick peck on his cheek before standing up to the kitchen. Out of the corner of your eye you can see him smile really big shaking his head. The butterflies build in your stomach once again.
