As soon as the troops were sent ,thunder struck them and the king saw them fall to the ground with his own eyes. This made him outrageous! Meanwhile Sarah and her dad were safe as long as the weather stayed like that. An hour later the weather cleared up,the king immediately ordered his men to catch those prisoners and bring them to justice.
Sarah's dad then woke Sarah up so that they could continue to flee. After 1 hour of continuous running they finally passed the Egyptian border and came to Israel. As soon as the king heard that they couldn't find the prisoners, he became so furious that he ordered the patrol who went out to find the prisoners to be killed when the sun rises. The frightened general and his troops were tremendously petrified by the shocking news and burst into tears.
The next morning as soon as the sun shone down to the great city of Cairo the general and his troops plunged to their death. The king was so sad,he never wished he ever did that. He felt so guilty and treacherous so he killed himself along with his 10 wives. People were delighted that they no longer had a horible king to rule them. They didnt even build a pyramid for him since he was the worst king in the world and they threw his body into the river nile.
