No Wonder

"Miyeon, sit next to me", I whispered.

"N-ne?". I pulled her hand so she was right beside me.

Class started and she looked so serious, concentrating on the teacher's words. I smiled upon seeing her like this and didn't realise that someone was calling me.

"Mr Jeon, I am assuming that Miyeon has numbers on her face for you to stare at". I heard some students chuckle and a snort. Of course it was Hoseok hyung.

"Sorr-". She cut me off. "The only numbers I see at the moment are on the board, where you should be looking at. Please do try concentrating next time". I slightly nodded.

'Aish, that was embarrassing'.

Your POV

The teacher was scolding Jungkook for looking at me?. I slightly believed her when she said that I had numbers on my face, so I touched my right cheek.

"Psst, Miyeon, she was kidding", I heard a whisper behind me that sounded like Hoseok.

I laughed silently and awkwardly. "I was..uh..just making sure". I made a stupid looking grin and went back, concentrating on the lesson.

The bell rang.

"Miyeon, sorry about earlier, I just looked at you to see if you were doing well for your first lesson". I smiled. "That's okay, just don't do it again incase you get in trouble".

"Wa-wait, Jungkook..is it alright if I hold your hand while going to recess?".

'Well that was awkward'.

"Sure". Some people whistled. "YAH, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS", Jungkook shouted at them.

I tried not to look hesitated while grabbing his hand. "You really don't have to do this if it's embarrassing for you".

He squeezed my hand a bit. "It's fine, what are friends for". My hair was ruffled and I smiled. "Let's go then".

Jungkook's POV

Silence remained between us while walking slowly.

'Why would she want to hold my hand though?'.

"Jung..kook?, you're probably wondering why I'm doing this". I gave her a shocked look as if she read my mind.

"If I tell you something that was wrong with me..promise not to laugh or hate me". I turned to face her, stopping us both from walking.

"Go ahead, I won't judge you". She smiled, then sighed. "Here it goes".

"I'm..I'm blind".
