Chapter 15- Merynne's Best Friend

||Harry's POV||

I was starting to worry with my aunts and uncles..ESPECIALLY mom and dad. God, what if they're in trouble, what if they're already captured by Pitch, what if-

"Cut it out Harry! Calm down!" I snapped out of my thoughts when Merynne screamed at me.

"Huh what?" I asked, confused. Was I that obvious?

"You were saying your thoughts out loud." She chuckled.

"Oh." I laughed.

"Hey guyz...do I look okay?" Eliza asked.

"Considering 1/4 of your hair is gray and 1/4 of your left eye is orange...you look okay." Jackson replied.

Eliza sighed. "Hey guyz, is Liz- LIZ?! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?! AND YOUR EYES?!" Annette gasped.

"Err, uhh.." Eliza trailed off.

"Let me tell you outside, okay?" Jackson instructed. Annette nodded, and they walked out of the door.

Then, the door opened again, revealing a guard. "Your highnesses, you have a visitor." The guard told us.

"Uhh, what? We don't have a-" I was cut off by Merynne.

"Ohhh! That must be Caira! Let her in!" She squealed. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes your majesty." The guard left.

"Uhh, hi." A shy, but elegant voice said behind me.

"Cai!" Merynne hugged the girl. I couldn't help but stare at her. Straight blonde hair, sky blue eyes, rosy cheeks and rosy lips. She's beautiful.

"Harry? Harry? HARRY!" Merynne smacked me.

"Owww," I rubbed my head.

"You were staring.." Merynne teased.

"Oh, uhh..right! This is Caira, Caira Jane Waters. My best friend. Oh, Caira, this is my nerd-" I cut her off with a slap on her arm. She chuckled. "This is my brother, Harry, Harry Mendall DunBroch Haddock. And, this is my cousin, Eliza, Eliza Jannette Arendelle Frost." She introduced.

"Uhh hi, nice to, uhh, meet you." Caira shook my hand and Eliza's hand. I nodded.

"Same." I smiled. She's very freaking beautiful. "Nice to meet you too." Eliza smiled.

Caira and Merynne started talking, and I was left alone not doing anything. So I just took out my book and read, Caira went in front of me.

"Ahhhhh!" I screamed, scared. Caira giggled.

"Oh, it was just you, how can I help you?" I rubbed my temple.

"I just want to ask you if you're a bookworm?"She answered and smirked at me.

I just stared at her, she was so beautiful. I just want to know all about her.

"Umm...? Hello?" She waved her hand in front of my face. That was embarrassing, I wish she didn't notice that i was staring at her.

"Umm..err..." I said nervously, I don't know what to say.

"Oh! Its fine, don't worry I love reading books too." She replied and chuckled.

"You are?" My eyes widened, I was shocked that a beautiful lady loves reading books.

"Yah! My parents always wanted me to be perfect, they want me to always be top 1 in the school." She confessed and put a hand on my shoulder. I was blushing, a beautiful lady putting a hand on my shoulder, I thought only couples do this?
