||Harry's POV||
"I love you, so much.." She gave me a long kiss, I responded, she cupped my cheek. My grip loosen. "I love you..." She slowly let go of my hand. No....no! "No, Caira, don't!" I tried to take grip on her hand,
But then...
She let go...
I can't believe it....she's gone,
Gone forever...
I felt sadness, but a minute later, I felt anger. I climbed up the cliff, and faced Pitch. "YOU FREAKING MONSTER!" I got my flaming sword out and slashed it to him.
Him being not ready and him being an idiot, I hit him. "Well, I have to say boy, I'm just doing my job," Pitch smirked, a sinister smirk.
"WHAT JOB!" I yelled at him.
"I'm the Guardian of Death." He smiled.
"YOU ASS! SHUT UP! YOU MADE THAT UP! MANNY WOULDN'T MAKE SUCH GUARDIAN AS THAT!" I charged at him, this time he dodged.
"I know, I AM the Guardian of Death, to me." He laughed.
"YOU ARE A MORON! A CRAZY MORON! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE! YOU JUST DO HORRIBLE THINGS! YOU KILL! SHE DIDNN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU! SHE'S AN INNOCENT! She's an innocent..." I teared up.
"Oh boy, well, I didn't know SHE WAS an innocent." He mocked, laughing.
That triggered my Guardian State, (A/N: Avatar State XD) My eyes started glowing with flames, I let out a battle cry and charged at him, this time I was able to hit him, my speed is a bit faster this time.
"You can't defeat me—" He stopped short with his words, his eyes widened, when he saw my eyes, he knows about the Guardian State.
"SHE'S AN INNOCENT! SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU! YOU ARE WORTHLESS!" I spat at him.
Pitch quickly rolled over from me, I followed him quickly. "Well, I think it's time for me to go." Pitch disappeared in dust, gone.
I slowly regain my normal state, falling to my knees and laying to the ground. Urgh.. "Harry wake up! Harry—" And that's the last thing I heard.
||Merynne's POV||
I was worried about Harry, and why Caira was not with him...
"Mmm......" I heard Harry murmur.
"Harry, are you fine?" I asked him, he nodded faintly. Then, covered his face with his hands.
"Where's Caira?" I asked him again, worried about the answer.
"She's gone, gone forever." He let a tear roll down his cheek.
"What do you mean?" I felt the urge to cry too, I tried to hide it. But I guess I failed, I cried.
"Pitch has done this?" I sniffed.
"Yes.." He mumbled.
"HE HAS KILLED SO MUCH!" I screamed, crying.
"Merynne, Harry— Harry!" Mom rushed to Harry.
"I'm fine mom, just triggered my Guardian State." Harry sighed
"Where is Caira?" I turned around to see Adianna asking.
How do I even break it to her? Her cousin gone forever?
Like heck!
"She's gone." I mumbled.
"Gone? Gone to where?" She asked.
"Gone, gone forever." Harry told her.
"What? NO! It can't be!" She teared up.
"See for yourself." Harry pointed to the cliff.
Adianna stood up and jump to the cliff, what?
"Adianna!" I screamed after her.
"Don"t worry, she can fly." Ashton sighed.
"How?" I asked.
"With fire." He replied. Right like a jet pack.
"NO!" We heard Adianna fell, then cry. A burst of fire and fireballs erupted into the sky.
Adianna flew up to us, carrying my dear best friend.
God, her poor bones broken, like my brother's, his heart. She was bleeding.
Harry falls to his knees beside her, he caressed her cheek. But he teared up, because of knowing that she won't wake up.
"She was an innocent..." Harry muttered.
"C-Caira?" I turned around to see Ethan with Eliza.
Ethan knelt beside Caira, and said,
"I failed aunt, I failed her." He let a tear roll down his cheek. Seeing that, Eliza hugged Ethan from behind, and placed her chin onto his right shoulder. He held her hands, lovingly.
"Princess Merynne?" I heard a boy's voice call me. I turned around,
"Hi." I faced him.
"Oh, and don't call me that. Call me Merynne or Rynne." I added.
"Alright." He smiled warmly.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Luke, Luke Troy Matthews."
