A breeze

The whole rest of the week was a breeze that was waiting to happen. Jesse helped me feel alive again, man I even laughed a little today. He still doesn't know about Nina and her clique, its better he doesn't know. It was Friday afternoon, we were in 9th period, math. I've always hated math, ever since preschool, but Jesse made it a little bit more fun.
As the teacher was going about his lesson Jesse said "If you have 4 Paramore albums and you get 2 Fall Out Boy albums how emo are you?" I chuckled because I understood the joke. The bell rung and the teacher said there was no homework!
"To celebrate having no homework how bout you come over and meet some of my friends from my old school?" Jesse said out of nowhere. "Ummmm, lemme call my dad, It'll probably be fine." We walked out of the classroom, got our stuff, and I called my dad.
"Hey Jade what do you need?"
"I was wondering if I could go to a friend's house, he lives next door so I wouldn't have to drive anywhere-"
"Wait, did you say He? It's a boy?"
"Yea but we're just friends"
"Hmmm, ok I guess It's fine, be home by 8:00"
"Ok, bye dad."

I hung up and gave Jesse a smile. We both got in our cars and drove to his place. We got to the house and walked in. It was very neat and clean. We were immediately greeted by his mom, who was pregnant. "Hi Jesse! Is this the girl you were talking about, Jade right?" She questioned. "That's me!" I said. "Well Its great to meet you, I would hug you but I'm too pregnant." I chuckled. "Well, we're gonna go downstairs, oh yea, the other boys are gonna come, we're just gonna jam out." She just smiled and nodded.
We went into the basement and I saw heaven. There was a Foosball table, a drum set, guitars, a bass, a grand piano, a bed, which was Jesse's, a Tv, a PlayStation 4, and a little ukelele in the corner.
"I just moved down here because there wasn't a room for the baby," he said. "Aw, that's sweet, can I play your drums?" I immediately asked. "Sure" he said laughing. I ran to them and started playing the drum beat to "Sugar We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy. He added the guitar, and I was a full jam out session. It was awesome until I saw 3 more guys walk down. We both immediately stopped and froze, then looked at each other, and burst out laughing. The other guys must've thought we were possessed.
"Jade, this is Sal, Ryan, and Bobby." I waved and said hello to them. "So, you finally met a girl with good music taste!" I heard Sal say. "Hey, we're just friends." Jesse replied. "Not for long." I heard Bobby whisper." I just ignored him.
"So Jade, what else do you play?" Ryan asked me. "Guitar, piano, and I sing too." I replied. "YES FINALLY WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A SINGER!" Sal Practically screamed. "Then let's play! Jade pick a song." Jesse said. "Emergency by Paramore." Jesse was on lead guitar, Sal was on rhythm guitar, Ryan was on bass, and Bobby was on drums. They started with the guitar until I came in. This was my favorite song to sing so I wasn't nervous.
After the song was over, they all stared in Awe and said in synch "You have a good voice," I just blushed and said Thank You. We played all night until I had to go home. I walked home and went right to sleep.
