You shivered as you made your way across the snowy camp. Small balls of fire lit the frames of the cabins, which seemed to have nothing in common other than the fact that they're buildings. Nevertheless, you buried your face in your scarf, keeping your mind on what was about to happen.
A few weeks ago, Piper brought everyone into the Aphrodite cabin for a secret Santa thing. When you pulled out the name, you saw your brother, Percy. Unfortunately, your brother didn't want anything for Christmas, so you had to guess on what he wanted. You got him a panda pillow pet. With the bag in hand, you finally made it to the Dionysis cabin. Pollux was throwing a Christmas party. You knocked on the cabin door and your boyfriend, Leo Valdez opened it from inside.
"Hello from the other side." He joked and then kissed you.
"Valdez your supposed to wait until we're under the mis-" You looked up to see that he had a mistletoe hat on.
You facepalmed epically, "Hey, do you know where Perc is?" You asked.
Leo nodded and led you to Percy, whi was making out with Annabeth. You decided you'd just leave the gift near him.
"So who's Santa were you?" You asked.
"Corvus." He mumbled.
"What did you get her?"
"I made her a steampunk bracelet." He replied.
Just then you heard a scream. You rushed outside to see a dying body and a lot of blood. Once you got closer you saw it was Corvus. She had a big, growing, spit of blood in her chest, right where her heart would be on the other side. She was struggling for air, tears streaming down her face like rivers. The snow didn't look any better. You ran next to your friend, her eyes becoming lifeless.
"Corvus no! Not on Christmas. Not any day! Will!!!!" You screamed.
Apollo kids ran out and brought her to the infirmary.

You sat outside of the infirmary, impatiently. Leo was by your side. Will walked out to meet you.
"Is she okay!?" You asked
"She's alright." Will answered.
"Do you know what hit her?" You asked, slightly calmer.
"A small gear. Must've been from the bracelet she was wearing. But it impaled her pretty good. Almost like it was a bullet." He explained.
You looked terrified and angry, "Valdez. What the fuck."
