Chapter Four

"Hello? Delivery God Yato at your service!!!?" I heard Yato yell into a phone at three o'clock in the morning. "Yato can you shut up?" I mumbled, sitting you and rubbing my eyes. "Oh, did I wake you up?" He asked with a mischeivious smirk. "Yukine, wake up we have a job." Yato chimed quietly, rolling Yukine off his matt. "Wait-- I want to come too!" I quickly said and leapt, grabbing onto Yato's jacket right as they teleported, soon I opened my eyes and was being technically being held down by Yato.
"Y-Yui?!" He stuttered, looking at me. "What are you doing uh, here..?"
"Uh, could you stand up?" I said blushing, his face was kind of close to mine. "I can't- Yukines' on my... back..." Yato mumbled and rolled over, pushing Yukine off.
I sat up, blinking. I was still in my pajamas which was a green sweater and black leggings, followed up by fuzzy white socks.
"Ooo! Yato God brang me a new Regalia daddy!" A boy chirped, about grab my arm. I rubbed my head and saw a boy, about ten years of age with brown hair and gleaming blue eyes. Suddenly Yato picked me up over his shoulder.
"Nope-- she's mine, Don't touch her...!" Yato chirped and Yukine looked at us. "Ah- Yato!?" I shrieked. "Yato, I'm not yours I'm Ayame's!" I added and he looked up at me, then glanced away. "Thats not what I ment." He muttered barely audible. "Yato, I thought I was your Regalia..." Yukine pouted. "Yukine go with me here..." Yato mumbled. "Yeah, she's his." Yukine said flatly. "Yukine!! You're going to let him do this?! Help me!" I shrieked, slamming my fists on his back, causing Yukine to chuckle lightly, amused.
"Yato, were here for a job remember?" Yukine said, soon Yato placed me back on my feet, holding me for a second then let go. "Erm, yeah." He mumbled, "but I'm your master! Don't tell me what to do!!" Yato shouted. "You were getting off track, it's not my fault!! And I'm your exemplar!" Yukine argued. I sighed and ignored them, looking at the kid.
"So, what's your name?" I asked, smiling kindly. "My name's Takano Gou! I'm the God of--" he started but was interrupted, "the son of the God of Misfortune." A tall man stepped out, taller than Yato and placed a hand on the boys shoulder. "Hello, I'm Takano Frey, nice to meet you." He smiled, a voice very deep to match his dark features.
I smirked a bit. "I'm Yui, a Regalia of the Goddess of Nature, and those two nitwits are the Yato God and his Regalia Yukine, you seem to already know them? From your expression?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Frey." Yato spoke from behind me. I turned to see him and Yukine staring at the two of us.
"What was it you needed." Yato said, not even seeming as if it was a question. "Frey-kun is that Yato-gami I hear?!" A voice called from around the corner and soon a beautiful young women walked out the door to stand next to Gou.
"Yato God, this is Eloise, my Regalia, she's new and she's been corrupted for quite some time now, I don't know how to help her--" Frey started. "Release her." I said, somehow feeling as if I knew what to do. The Misfortune God glared at me, dead eyed. "What?" He growled, "I am not releasing my wife." He strictly stated. Eloise seemed shocked, but calmed down and gave a warm smile. "Listen to me, if you're going to be a good husband and father and God you should do what's right and punish her." I said quietly, I glanced at Yato who didn't seem effected and then at Yukine who seemed to have realization in his eyes. "Listen Frey, Yui is right, you must punish her or... or you'll loose her forever." Yato mumbled. Yukine fixed his expression. "The same thing happened to me... but I got fixed.. in a way.." he said quietly. "Frey, call me when. It's something I can help you with, not talk to you about." Yato sighed and turned rudely, walking away towards town. I looked at Yukine who followed him up.
"Yukine--" I said, following after him, we stayed a bit back from Yato. "What do you mean it's happened to you before?" I asked, "I used to steal and do bad things which blighted Yato really badly, but... I've changed, I'm different now there's no need to worry." Yukine said, "if you think I have a problem with it... I don't, I like you the way you are now Yukine." I said smiling.
Yukine seemed a bit shocked, but didn't show it. "Really?" He asked, looking at me through orange eyes. I smiled, looking at the younger Regalia. "Yeah, really..that's what friends are for, right?" I chimed, causing him to smile. "We're friends?" He asked. I grinned bigger. "Of course we are, if we want to put up with each other and keep that baka contained, we'll have to work together, right...? And you saved me as well, that has to count for something, dosent it?" I asked, looking at him, returning a smile. "Yeah, I guess it does." He said, smiling brighter.

It had gotten about past noon and I was sitting alone on a wooden roof top, waiting for Sukki and Ayame to get back. Suddenly the feeling of someone watching me got to me. "The ground is where you belong." A voice spoke. I turned my head to see that girl, Nora again.
"Nora.." I started. "Do you want to be used more by your master? Do you wish to be used and treated better? Come, become a Nora with me, you'll be so great, and so powerful like all of us..." Nora spoke, as if advertisement in a newspaper and her small creepy smile smeared lightly on her face.
I blinked, staring at her horrified. "No!" I yelped and backed away as a man appeared behind her. "Restraint- Yui!.. Hmm, What are we gonna do with her... Coda?" The man asked. "I don't know master, what will we do?" Nora responded, ever so emotionless. "Maybe I could create her as one of you?" He smiled, mischief in his big, psychotic grin.
I tried away to the edge of the roof but couldn't budge, Yato told me to go to him if I needed help, but I didn't know where to go, and in this kind of situation I couldn't budge. I felt frozen, I seriously couldn't move an inch. Then I remembered.
He used a spell like thing on me... restraint... it made me unable to move...
He put two fingers out, "You, with places to go, places to return--"
"Stop right where your words come." A voice spoke, gentle, but rough. "Come, Ayu!" It called, soon I was a Katana and Sukki was beside me. "Sukki-" I started, but she cut me off.
"Hush it blade girl, let's kick some ass right now." She laughed and focused hard as Ayame shot her. Soon I started focusing as my blade clashed with another, strengthening my every move. "Revert, Yui, Sukki." Ayame said calmly. "Revert, Code." The guy said calmly. "Oh, master, it seems another one of my masters have come along" Nora said, then suddenly disappeared. "Well then, disappearing on the job I see, Coda?" He said, before disappearing with her.
"Yui-- Yui, are you okay?" Ayame said, hand on my shoulder. I nodded, coughing a bit. "Tch, you got a cold now Yui, why'd you go out here while I was out you know you could hang back there with Yato and everyone." Ayame said calmly.
My blonde hair fell to my shoulders as I pushed my hair out of my eyes. I shrugged, feeling as if I couldn't say anything and then I heard the word, "border line!" And a thin white line parted me from my master. "Yui!" She called and then I felt a thin arm sliver around my waist, I glance up to see Azulia, holding two fingers out to create it. Jayce threw me over his shoulder, then as Azulia's border closed, we were teleported away.
"Ouch!" I yelped as I was tossed onto hard stone pavement. "So, Azulia, go call up the Yato God. He'll be glad to hear that the job was complete." I heard Jayce say before I fell into complete darkness.
