Shadow POV:

Ever since I got Eggman to talk, I heard disturbing news that he'd been kidnapped. It came from Amy and Tails, they still blamed Eggman for Sonics disappearance and each week, they'd attack Eggman for answers. Eggman had somehow not fallen to the deadly hammer and he had kept his trap shut. After hearing what Eggman said about Sonic threatening to suck him dry if he'd told anyone, I have a feeling that a piko piko hammer was not going to get him to talk easily. Apparently after the day I attacked Eggman for answers, Amy and Tails had attacked the base to find it had already been severely damaged and Eggman wasn't there rebuilding the place. (Incase your wondering, Shadow had spent most of the week mulling over the riddles that Sonic had said, trying to figure out what they meant. Pretty soon after he gave up and confronted Eggman so he could get a strait answer) apparently they had searched the entire place, practically knocking the framework over to see wether there were any hidden rooms that he could have hidden in. They came back empty handed and told Knuckles and Rouge and Cream. Rouge came to me and told me what Tails and Amy had told her and that perked my interest. I decided to wait Sonic out. I have a feeling that he found out that Eggman had told me what happened to him so he took him and is currently holding him somewhere. I figured that he'd keep Eggman as a feeding source, so he didn't need to come to the village at all. I drummed my fingers against the table. I was out having a coffee with Rouge, she wanted me to make sense of the new events.

Rouge: 'first Sonic goes missing last month, now Eggman is missing. Who do ya reckon Is going to get kidnapped next month?'

She said it in a playful mater, she wanted something to take her mind off things, that much was evident.

Shadow: 'I dunno, maybe Tails or Amy, they were the ones to discover that Eggman was missing.'

She copied me and drummed her fingers against the table. She held her other hand to her chin and pouted.

Rouge: 'thats sweet, you don think I'm going to get kidnapped next!'

Shadow: 'I don't think your ever going to get kidnapped. If the kidnapper goes after the people who fought or worked with Sonic, you and I are slightly out of the picture.'

Rouge drummed her fingers more vigorously against the table. She was wanting some exiting banter, not some logical statement. Finally Rouge had had enough of my curt replies and she stood up and waved me, signalling that she was leaving. I decided that I needed to leave as we'll so after Rouge walked out the door, I pulled out my chaos emerald and chaos controlled myself home. Once I got there I went onto Google (yes they have internet and Google) and I researched Vampires. Like everyone else, I knew the basic knowledge of Vampires. 1) They suck your blood 2) they burn/turn into ashes in the sun 3) they are nocturnal 4) they are allergic to garlic 5) they can be killed by a wooden stake to the heart. Seeing as I only knew that much on vampires, I decided that I'd do some research on the mythical beautiful creatures. I cross checked against multiple websites to make sure that the information was genuine I found out that vampires can go a week without blood. I considered that and I figured that seeing as Sonic had Eggman, he could either feed off him every day or each week he'd feed off Eggman. I guessed that he was going to I feed off him every day but I also assumed that Sonic was going to get sick of Eggmans blood pretty quickly. I know that there are different blood types and having the same blood must get pretty tiring, of course this was all an assumption. I decided that each night I'd watch over the village and look around the borders to note for any signs of Sonic.

One week later

I was on my routine night watch. I was looking out into the open fields surrounding the village. Out of the corner of my eye, i noticed some slight movement.

"It's him" I thought... I watched as he sped along the field, careful not to break the sound barrier. I watched as he stopped in front of a house and stealthily crept in. I watched the house for a couple of minutes as I saw him come out. I noticed that he left a couple of coins on the villagers front porch, as he was thanking him. "He must still care about the village if he's doing that" I thought. I crept down from my spot and I watched as he sped across the field as I silently followed him. I followed him to the top of the mountain and I saw that he entered a mansion. I crept into the place and I was careful for any squeaking in the old wooden floorboards. I crept around the place until I heard something faint and unexpected... Guitar...

Fall

I'm slowly walking toward the sounds. Careful not to alert him.

Now the dark begins to rise

I peer into the room, looking at Sonic, he has his back to me and he is strumming his guitar, playing his song.

I back away and I chaos control home, before he knows I was there. I have a feeling that he was repenting for all that he's done since he's disappeared. Seeing as I now know where he is residing, I decided to do something stupid..... Very stupid.... I called Tails...

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile.... >_<^ I've kinda forgotten about it and just been reading all these other great stories! Ehehehehehehe... I've also had writers block on this one so I would appreciate some ideas... Plz don't kill me...
