Kanato x Reader

You were in your bedroom, sitting by the fireplace and you were humming a nice Christmas song. It was Christmas and you were a bit sad that you didn't receive any presents. You didn't believe in Santa Claus and your family was dead. You were living with your one and only friend, Kanato and his stuffed bear named Teddy. You then heard knocking on the door.

"Y/N? May I come in?" Kanato said in a faint voice. You smiled and let him enter.

"What's up, Y/N? You seem bored..." Kanato shrugged.

"Oh not really...I was just thinking that we could do something together since it's Christmas today!" you replied softly. Kanato giggled.

"I've been thinking about that too, and so was Teddy!" he exclaimed and then sat next to you in front of the fireplace. He then began to hum the song jingle bells, and you joined him. 

"...What's that Teddy?" Kanato asked his stuffed bear and then giggled.

"Of course Teddy!" he replied.

"Hey Y/N...want some cookies?" he asked faintly.

"Yes please!" you grinned. Kanato then dug into his pockets and took out a couple of sugar cookies.

"Here you go..." he handed you a few cookies in your hand.

"Thank you!" you exclaimed and stuffed a cookie in your mouth. Kanato stared at you in awe.

"Y/N...I have something for you..." Kanato said and stood up, "Wait here..." he ordered you and you nodded. He then came back, holding a green wrapped box in his hands and sat back down with you.

"For you..." Kanato handed you the box, and you were surprised.

"For...me?" you said really softly. Kanato nodded and smiled at you softly.

"Open it..." he told you and you didn't hesitate to do so. You opened the box and gasped. Kanato chuckled. You then held out a F/C teddy bear that was wearing a pink dress and had an eye patch over its right eye.

"Thank you, Kanato!" you exclaimed and then hugged him.

"Now you have another friend and so does Teddy!" Kanato winked at you and you giggled.

"Oh, but I wish that I had a present for you too..." you moaned. Kanato giggled. 

"Don't worry...as long as we're together...that'll be enough..." Kanato came closer to you.

"Merry Christmas, Y/N!" Kanato whispered in your ear.

"Merry Christmas, Kanato..." you replied in his ear.

"This is the best Christmas I've ever had...especially with you, Kanato..." you said, cuddling in his arms.

"Well, it's my job to make you happy..." he replied hugging you and you both closed your eyes and fell asleep.
