In the pouring rain, Drew and I sat in my yellow Volkswagen Beetle. "Ken, I'm sorry." he said. I shook my head and wiped the freshly fallen tears from my eyes. "Adrew Michael Chadwick, the guy I've known since kindergarten has decided to break my heart, and all he can say is sorry? Awesome." I laughed. "And the better thing is, he left me for someone he's only known for 2 days." I added. "Please don't make me feel like this..." he said. "You're a selfish bastard! You know that? Just get out of my car...I hope I never meet someone as useless as you ever again." I said. "At least give me one last kiss." he said. I hate him, but love him. I sighed.
He leaned in and kissed me. His hands traveled to either sides of my head. I kissed him back and tried not to try. "Drew please don't leave me...I love you." I said. He looked at me with sorrowful eyes. His blue eyes stung my soul as he looked at me. I hugged him, pulling him close to me. He embraced me, and took a deep breath. "Baby, you know I love you...but I just don't feel that spark like old times." he said. "But I do. Drew...please." I begged. He pulled me back and kissed my head. "Bye Kendal." he said, then got out of my car.
That was the last time I saw Drew. It's been 2 years. He's pursuing his dream of singing with Wes and Keaton. They are doing really good. They have some good songs. Chloe is one that really hits home. Drew chose me, out of all the girls to go to home coming with in 9th grade. I wasn't popular at all. No one paid me any attention except Drew-- When he was alone of course. When we got together he made me feel so special. I just can't believe it's been two years since he left me.
