Escape

9 1 1

Shall I escape

I will move to the country side

With beautiful landscape

Not a skyscraper in sight

No dismay to my life

Shall I escape

I will wave goodbye

As I cruise down the long road

Leaving to the place that no one knows

Waving my hand through the air

Saying goodbye was never easy

But, this time it's simple

Shall I escape

I will tie all loose ends

Dotting my I's and crossing my T's

Make amends with all lost friends

Let go of grudges

Forgive those who have done me wrong

Just before I am gone

Shall I escape

I will be in a happy place

Where rain never falls

And the bird's endless song

Is all that is heard

For miles on end

Shall I escape

I will leave this crowded city

Walk off without doubt

I will be in a starry sky

One not covered with smog

That is inches thick.

Shall I escape,

I will be happier
