I'm sitting on the bench with Niall , there is an awkward silence but I decided to speak up

Convo:

Me: Niall why did you want to talk? I mean we have nothing to talk about...

Niall: yes there is Aubree. I need to tell you why I didn't keep in contact

End*

Before I could talk his phone rang, he gave me a sympathetic look but I just rolled my eyes!

"Hello......no I am with Aubree..... No I'm staying.......whatever bye" and then he hung up the phone

I was furious obviously that phone call was more important then telling me why he forgot all about me!

"Bree-" I cut him off by saying

"No Niall I can't do this! I'm tired of being hu-" I was cut off my soft lips crashing on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing him back. The weird thing is I actually liked it. I'm not supposed to kiss my best friend but I did and I like it!

"Bree I'm sorry I didn't mean to kis-" I crashed my lips onto his. Seconds later we pulled away

" what was that" he asked puzzled

"Who said I didn't like it?" I said sending him a wink.

"Bree I'm sorry for everything okay? Please let's forget about the kiss and let me show you that I'm sorry! I miss my best friend" it hurt to hear him say that he wanted to forget all about the kiss, I mean I practically told him I liked it and he wants to forget it? You know what ? I will forget all about this stupid kiss and give him a chance! After all it was just a stupid kiss right?

"Sure Niall I would like that" I gave him a fake smile trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to pour out at any moment!

"Come on I want you to meet the lads" he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the car where we headed to the lads house!

Obviously he didn't know me well enough to realize I was so close to crying. But after all I need to gain my best friend back!
