Christmas Day!!! Yay!!!

Brooke's POV

I woke up, and hurried downstairs. I looked at the tree. There were so many gifts under the tree!!!

"Mom, Dad, get up!" I yelled as I looked at each present, wondering what was in each of them.

"We're up," Mom said tiredly.

We ate breakfast and opened presents. Hours later, once every present was opened, my parents looked at each other smugly.

"What?" I questioned.

"We have one last surprise for you," they said, and told me to get into the car.

We all piled in the car, and I waited as we drove. My eyes widened and my heart beat faster each turn we made. I knew where we were going.

We pulled through the gates of Century Farms.

I was silent as we got out of the car and met Mrs. Jones at the front of the barn. She whispered with my parents, and then led me into the first barn. We stopped at a stall, and I looked in.

"Oh my gosh guys!" I cried as I squeezed my parents. Then I entered the stall, and hugged the horse that was in the stall.

Colonel.

He was all mine!

Molly's POV

I went downstairs. I sighed, knowing that there would be tons of presents. It was great, but I never got what I really wanted, which was my best friend back. But I know that isn't possible.

I took a look at the scene. Yep, exactly what I was expecting. I smiled, still excited to open the gifts, but knowing that I would never be happy with just that. I feel horrible and selfish, but it's not just things that would make me happy.

My parents got up, and immediately told me to get in the car.

"What about the presents?" I asked, and they shook their heads.

"Those can wait. Let's go," Dad said, and I followed suspiciously.

We drove, and I had no idea where we were going. But then, I started to recognize the area.

"Oh my gosh," I whispered under my breath.

We parked in the parking lot of Century Farms, and my parents looked at me and smiled.

"We hope you like it," Mom said. She was so hopeful. She really just wanted to make me happy. I smiled at her.

"I know I will," I said, and raced out of the car and into the barn.

In the stable, I found Claire's stall, and looked at her. She had a silky red ribbon tied around her neck, and there was a tag on it.

I entered her stall and peeked at the tag. I read it.

Molly,
Merry Christmas! We really hope you like her. I know nothing can replace Venus, but we're really trying. Until her leg is healed, she must stay here, but you can come visit her all the time. She is yours.
Love,
Mom and Dad xoxo

Tears filled my eyes as I read the card, and I hugged Claire.

"I love you," I whispered into her mane.

Heather's POV

I was out at the barn bright and early. I would open presents with my family later. I was planning on riding bareback today, and going on a trail. I want to have a fun, relaxing ride for both me and Cloud today.
