Harry pov
Father, Will and I were having dinner. My phone rang. "Harry no cell phones at the table." Father said. "But it's Grace," I said getting up. "Make it quick," father said. I left the room. "Hello, love." I answered. "Harry, my water broke," Grace said crying. "What?" I asked. "My water broke, I'm on the way to St. Mary's please can you get here soon." She said in tears. "I'm on my way." I said. "Hurry Harry." She sobbed. "I will, I'll be their in an hour." I said. I went back to the dinning room. "It seems I have to go." I said with a smile. "Is Grace alright?" Will asked. "She's in labor." I said smiling. Father and Will got up. I ran to the carport and we took off for St. Mary's.

The car stopped outside the hospital wing. I got out and ran towards the desk. "Grace Miller," I said. "Room 438." The receptionist said. "Thank you." I said.

I found the room. I knocked, "come in," it sounded like Kate. I went in. Kate was sitting in a chair across from the hospital bed, when my beautiful Grace laid asleep. Kate started to get up. "Don't get up." I whispered. She sat back down. Will came in behind me. He went over and sat with Kate. I rolled a chair over to the side of the bed. Grace had her back to the door. She started cringing, and gripping the side of the bed. I put a hand on her arm. She took my hand. "Harry," she said. She sat up. She was panting. "Hey it's alright," I said rubbing her hand. "It hurts," she said. "I know it does, but it won't be long." I said kissing her hand. "Grandad, has Grandad been called?" She asked franticly. "I called him Grace, but he won't be able to make it." Kate said. "Why, is he alright?" Grace asked. Kate shook her head. "He's had a stroke, and he's on life support. They don't know if he'll live." Kate said. Grace started crying. "I need to go to Liverpool." Grace said trying to get up. "No, ma'am. You can't your in labor. You aren't going to Liverpool." I told her pushing her back onto the bed. "Harry please, he needs me." She sobbed. "Grace, Diana needs you to stay put right now." I said as I stroked her hand. I wiped her tears away. "Alright, for Diana." She said. "But we will go to Liverpool, right?" She asked. "We will." I said kissing her hand. "Alright," she laid back. I raised the bed so she was sitting up. "Try to rest," I said. She nodded and closed her eyes.

-five hours later-

I woke up to Grace screaming, she was leaning over her swollen stomach and cringing. "Harry," she squeaked. "I'm here darling," I said taking her hand. She laid back against the bed panting. I took the wet cloth the nurses provided and I wiped her forehead. "Next time your carrying the baby." She said. "I would if I could." I said kissing her cheek. She laid back down. Dr. Hill knocked on the door and came in. "How are you Grace?" She asked. "I don't know," she said. "Let's check your dilation," she said. "Your almost their, I'd say in an hour or two," she said. Grace sat up. "Thank you," she said. Dr. Hill left. She opened the door and Granny, Grandad, father and Camilla were their. Dr. Hill curtsied then left. "How are you Grace?" Father asked. "Peachy." She spat. I took her hand and rubbed it. "Grace, be nice." I said. "I'm trying to." She said. "Kate, wake up." Will whispered to Kate. "George, I forgot about George." She said. "He's with his nanny." Father said. "Thank goodness. How's labor, Grace?" She asked. "Wonderful," Grace said sarcastically. She laid back down. "This doesn't seem like the idealist time for guests." Granny said. "I think so," Grandad said. They left with Father and Camilla also.

-two hours later-

Grace's contractions were constant. She kept moaning. Dr. Hill came in. "Grace I believe you should be ready to push." She said checking her dilation. "And I was correct." She said. "Can Kate and Harry stay?" Grace asked. "They may." Dr. Hill said as she pages for a few nurses. Will patted my shoulder and left. Dr. Hill had Grace get in a different position for the delivery. "On your next contraction I want you to push." Dr. Hill told Grace. Grace took my hand. I kissed it, but she didn't seem to notice. Grace yelled in pain before collapsing on the bed. A nurse wiped Grace's forehead. "Another push just like that," Dr. Hill told Grace. She nodded before screaming again, she kept squeezing my hand. Grace screamed again. "NO, NO, I WANT HER OUT!" Grace screamed. "Your almost their Grace, she's almost out." Dr. Hill said. Grace screamed once again. Another cry came. "It's a girl," Dr. Hill said as Grace laid against the bed. A nurse rapped Diana in a blanket and handed her to Grace. Kate moved so the nurses could work. "She's beautiful," Grace said as streamed of tears rolled down her cheek. I realized I was crying also. "Prince Harry would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" Dr. Hill asked. "I'd love to." I said. A nurse handed me a pair of clamps, and instructed me how to cut the cord. I did, and Grace seemed to finally be relaxing. "We need to get her cleaned up." Dr. Hill said as she took Diana from Grace. "Bye, Di." Grace said. Grace seemed exhausted. "I'm so proud of you." I kissed her head. "No, don't kiss me I'm sweaty." She said pulling away but I still kissed her. Grace fell asleep, I got up and left Kate with Grace.

Will was outside. "How is she?" Will asked. "exhausted." I said. "Where's the rest of the family?" I asked. "Admiring Diana." Will said as we walked down the hall. To the same window I saw George behind, two years ago. "She's precious," Camilla told me. I smiled. "Tell Grace that, she'd like that." I said.

I sent back and stayed with Grace, Will took Kate home so she could sleep. I sat in the chair across from Grace, the one Kate had been sitting in. A nurse brought Diana in. I got up and picked Diana up. She was so small. I sat down next to Grace's bedside. Diana was awake, she had big blue eyes. I smiled. I put her back in the crib. I woke Grace. "What Harry?" She moaned. "Do you want to hold Diana?" I asked. She sat up. I picked Diana up and handed her to Grace. I turned the TV on. Even though it was 3 am. The announcement of Diana's birth would still be taken to Buckingham palace and posted outside.

-5 hours later-

I'd changed into the dress i'd packed. I put my coat on, it was a chilly Valentine's Day morning. I swaddled Diana in a blanket. I didn't want her to be cold. Harry came in, "ready?" He asked. I got up and picked Diana up. I looked out the window. A crowd of people had crowded outside wanting to see Diana.

Harry walked next to me as I carried Diana. "She's so cute." Harry said. "She is, the people will love her." I smiled. "Oh they will," Harry said. The doors opened and cameras started clicking. I smiled. We stood on the steps, then walked and stood in the middle of the street. We put Diana in a car seat and I got in the backseat. Harry sat in the front seat. But he kept looking back at me. The streets were lined with people. All the way back to Kensington. Flowered were around the gate. The car pulled in and Harry took Diana out then helped me out. "Are you alright?" He asked. "tired," I said. We went inside and took Diana to the nursery.

George and Kate were in their. "George do you want to meet your new cousin?" Harry asked. I took Diana out of the car seat. "This is Diana, your gonna be sharing a room with her," I said. "Why?" He asked. "Because, this is the nursery and it's where the children sleep." Kate told him. "Alright," he said. I put Diana in the crib Harry had bought for Diana. I didn't want to leave her alone but I needed to shower. "Go ahead and shower, I'll watch her." Kate said. "Thank you," I said.
