goodbye notes and a big secret

Emily's pov

I woke up and went into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror , and I had tear stains on my face. I jumped in the shower.

I have a lot of things on my mind. I got out of the shower and went into my walk in closet. I got my dress that has black polka dots on it and a black belt.

I put on the dress and dried my hair leaving it in it's natural curls. I put on water proof mascara and eye liner. so when I cry my makeup wont run.

I put on my black high heels, grabbed my pink purse and grabbed my iphone.

I went down stairs, Louis, harry and me were the only ones up.

don't you want any breakfast? harry asked

no. im just going to have some tea. I said

ok. harry said

Emily I told the other boys to do what they want today and not to wait for us to come home, cause when we do we wont want to do anything. Louis said

alright that's fine with me. I said

me, harry, and Louis got into my white Cadillac. it was my mom's favorite car that I had.

we got to the funeral home where the will reading is being held. we all walked in me and Louis were hand in hand when we walked in.

we sat in an office and they started to begin the reading. it was just the three of us there and the guy reading.

harry you get all of the cars, we know how much you love our cars, so they are yours now. Louis you get the two dogs and all of our money. Emily you get the house. we know how much you love it. so when you have kids it could be your house or a vacation house. whatever you choose. Emily you also get all of your mother's jewelry. you may not think that it is fair but it is. we made it that way. the will reader red from the will.

there are also two notes from your parents. I will leave so you can read them in private. the man said

he left the room and I took the one from mom. Louis took the one from dad.

Emily read mom's first. harry said

my mom's goodbye letter said....

my beloved children, me and your father had known for a while that he only had a short time to live. so we wrote notes to you. so when the day had come you would know what was going on. please don't be mad at me for not telling you this sooner but Simon cowell is your father. you must be so confused. you see me and simon had Louis before we were married then we got married and found out that Emily and harry were going to be born. I couldn't take it, having hate from people for being married to simon, so  ended it before harry and Emily were born. I had Emily and harry then a year later I married troy Tomlinson. I changed Louis's last name to Tomlinson and left harry and Emily's last name as cowell. after a year the marriage between me and troy ended. two years after that I married des styles leaving Louis's last name and changing harry's and Emily's to styles. I wanted you three out of the hate and fame spotlight. but that didn't happen. im still proud of all of you no matter what. your dad simon knows about what has happened and wants to be the parent in your life. please let him. I love you all and will see you someday. love mom

I cried while reading the note so harry had to read the last half of it.

Louis read dad's letter. it might have something about him not being our dad in it. I said

ok. Louis said

dad's letter said.....

dear harry, Louis, and Emily. I may not be your dad but I sure did like pretending to be your dad, you three are the best kids in the world. I want you to give simon a chance. treat him the way you treated me. remember this is not his fault it was your mom's doing. you can call hi dad. I want you to, so he feels like important in your life. don't be angry and your mom and me for keeping this from you. I love you all. im sorry I didn't tell you about the cancer, it's just I didn't want to see you go through having to see me dying everyday. I promise you it was for the better. your mother could be away from me. she had separation anxiety that's why she killed herself. she would be lonely and miss me then eventually pass away. me and your mom will be looking over you and your children when you have them. after reading those we cried for a little while then got up and took the letters with us we walked out of the office wiping away our tears. paul was waiting for us outside. we got into my car and paul drove us home.

when we got home all of the boys were home. when I saw niall I ran into his arms.

hey boys we have to tell you something, and you might want to sit down. harry said

they all sat down on the couches in the living room.

so um simon cowell is our dad. Louis said really fast

what did you say? liam asked

lou said. that simon cowell is our dad. I said

they all looked at us shocked

 simon is your dad? how? zayn asked

then we explained how he was our dad.

while the boys talked I fell asleep.
