Hi everyone! Merry almost Christmas!
About 4 years ago, I had a very best friend who's name was Darryl. We were best friends for about 3 years. We used to see each other every day, until one day I had to move. We haven't seen each other since 2011.
My family ran into his mom last Tuesday at the mall, and his mom and I caught up. I got his number and we started texting. I've forgotten how sweet and nice he is.
But I have mixed emotions about him. I like him, but I also just want to stay friends. The only thing is, he told me that he loved me yesterday. I don't know what to say, and I feel like it's going to be awkward when I text him again.
I just want things to go back to normal where we talked about anything and everything. Where we laughed about stupid stuff and listened to weird music. What should I do without hurting his feelings?
