_.:”’'*Faythe*'’”:._

Calculus was going by slow. When I looked up at the clock it wasn’t even close to being time to go. And I swear. If Ben throws one more damn piece of paper at Maddi and she looks back him I’m gonna have to kill him and her.

“Well class, that’s about all for today.” Mr. Habbot said. “So, I guess, you all can just chat. Don’t get to loud and we won’t have a problem.” Then the whole class broke off into whispers and groups began to form.

“Sissy, I wanna talk to Maddi.” Ben whined. Okay so by now you all are probably wondering how we are brother and sister in the same grade. Well, I skipped a grade and my mom had a miscarriage and adopted. And Brendan and Ben were practically irrespirable and my mom just fell in love with the both of them. So bam, family.

“Well then go talk to her.” I said annoyed. Then out of the blue my phone vibed in my bra. Yes, my bra. That way I don’t lose it. And I wish someone would try to grab it. Then I will have a reason to beat the hell outta someone.

I turned towards Ben and told him to cover me. I took my phone out and quickly tapped in my password. It was a text from Ari.

-Meet me @ my locker!!! NOW!!! I MEAN RUN NO, DON’T RUN!! SPRINT!!-

I sighed and got up.

“What’s up?” Ben asked.

“Stuff.” I said. I walked over to Mr. H’s desk. He was busy with something on his computer. “Um, Mr. H?” He looked up from his computer.

“Yes Ms. Dark?” He answered politely.

“Yea, um, I have to go to the restroom.” I said. It was really odd asking a guy teacher to go to the bathroom.

“Yeah, go right ahead.” He said and went back to his computer. Well, at was easy enough. I hurried out of the room and as soon as I rounded the corner I broke off full sprint.

I got to her locker ASAP. And she wasn’t even there yet.

I folded my arm over my chest when I heard the footsteps coming this way. I glared at Ari as she ran towards me. She put her hands on her knees and caught her breath.

“Ari, this better be good.” I said. And then she looked up at me. “Oh my God. Aria have you been crying? What happened? Whose ass do I get to kick? Was it Dominic? Was it John? Was it one of those damn Barbies? Tell me now!” I said. My protective side kicking in.

“Well if you stopped talking then I could tell you.” She said laughing.

“Okay well hurry up and talk. I need to get back to class be—” I was mid-word when a hand slammed against the locker by my head. Pinning me to the locker and moving Aria out the way.

I can face to face with Eli. The one who can get teachers to do anything. He looks different from last year. He got his hair cut. It looked good on him. I loved his big smile. And his eyes. WOW! I love those. They were a very pretty brown. He and his sister look nothing alike. Well, not really. They have the same nose though.

“Hey.” He said studying me.

“Yo.” I said. He just interrupted y conversation and all he says is ‘hey’? I love his bad boy attitude. But that’s why we would never work out. He has no sensitivity. He’s like the type of guy who would hurt me. And I would die if Brendan messed up his pretty looks. Plus, I already have two that I have to keep under control. “What do you need Eli?” I said his name with a little interest. What can I say? I love to play.
