New student

The next day came and Soonyoung got to school with a tired expression on his face, bags under his eyes and his hair wasn't combed properly.

"You look horrible man, what happened?" Jihoon asks in a chuckle, coming up to Soonyoung's desk where he just sat down at.

"I didn't get much sleep last night" Soonyoung says in a yawn while rubbing his eyes.

"Let me guess, you staid up all night gaming again?" Jihoon asks in a smirk and Soonyoung groaned.

"Hey, I know you well, we've been friends for the longest time. Plus you've been going on and on about that game 'undertale' so much."

"Yeah...that games so interesting yet so, ugh! I hate you flowey!" Soonyoung says in an angry tone, cursing out a videogame character.

Jihoon chuckled, ruffling Soonyoung's hair as he says "you shouldn't be playing video games all night, you should be studying. You know for a fact you're already failing."

"Meh, I don't care if I fail this class, fail this school, fail at life for that matter!" Soonyoung says, rubbing his eyes once again.

"I know you don't mean that...and dude, you look drained. You should go to the nurses office and sleep on one of the beds." Jihoon says, looking at the bags under Soonyoungs eyes.

"Nah I'm fine" Soonyoung says, waving his hand a bit.

"Well whatever you say, but if you fall asleep in class and get yelled at the teacher again for it, don't say I didn't warn you" Jihoon says in a smile before turning around and heading to his seat.

"Yeah, yeah" Soonyoung says in a little mumble while resting his head on his desk, trying to get a bit of rest before class started.

The bell then rang and everyone sat straight in their seat and as Soonyoung heard the bell, he sluggishly sat up straight, not wanting to do so but knew he'd get called out if he didn't.

The teacher then came into the classroom with a smile on her face, the first subject they had in the morning was English and that was one of Soonyoung's worst subjects.

"Okay everyone now we're going to try introducing ourselves in English. I'm going to go around the classroom and everyone introduce yourself to me in English" the teacher says, starting at the front of the classroom.

Soonyoung quickly cursed himself out silently, thinking he should have went to the nurses office in stead of staying in class. The English teacher told them to practice their introductions for homework since she'd be testing them on it today and to do that as homework but Soonyoung totally forgot.

Some student had very good pronunciation with everything and some you could tell they were trying but Soonyoung didn't even know how to say 'hello my name is' because he always slept or never paid attention.

Before his turn came up he was trying to pick up on everyone who was saying it before him so he could copy them and just say his name after.

Soonyoung watched Jihoon do it and Jihoon had the best pronunciation out of almost the whole class. "Wah, he's so good" Soonyoung thought to himself.

The teacher then got to Soonyoung who sat at the back of the class and says "Soonyoung it's your turn."

Soonyoung stood up and cleared his throat before saying anything. "Just copy what everyone else said Soonyoung and you'll be fine" Soonyoung thought to himself, rehearsing in his head before actually saying it.

Soonyoung then cleared his throat, saying "ahem...h-hello...I...my....name...I....name....Soonyoung?" Soonyoung says, trying to say it in the best English he could.

"You're almost there Soonyoung, you don't have to repeat I and name. Just say 'hello, my name is Soonyoung' okay?" The teacher says and Soonyoung nodded as he sat down.

Jihoon then looked back at Soonyoung and gave him a thumbs up and Soonyoung gave Jihoon a smile back.

Then out of the blue a knock came on the classroom door and the teacher opened it to see a student standing before her.

"Oh, you must be the new student we were hearing about" the teacher says in a smile and the student nodded.

Once the students in the classroom heard the words 'new student' they were trying to look past the teacher to see the new student.

"We're getting a new student?" A boy asks, looking at his friend next to him.

"Apparently" the boy sitting next to him says.

"It's a boy, he's wearing pants, it's a boy!" A girl exclaims, excited.

"I hope he's cute" her friend says and the other girl nodded.

As the teacher moved out of the way to let the new student in, the new student came in with a big smile on his face.

"Everyone, this is a new student that will be joining us from today onward." The teacher says, pointing at the student.

The student bowed as he introduced himself "Hello everyone, my name is Lee Seokmin." The student says in a smile.

"He's so cute~" a girl exclaims while giggling.

"He's so tall too, that's a part of my ideal types!" Another girl adds on.

Soonyoung wasn't interested in the slightest about the new student entering their classroom and decided to continue drawing on his desk.

Time passed and as lunch time came around, everyone was swarming around Seokmin's desk to become his friend and to learn more about him.

"Come on Jihoon, lets go get our food at the cafeteria" Soonyoung says in a smile, standing in front of Jihoon's desk.

"I was going to talk to the new student before I went to the cafeteria" Jihoon explains, now standing up.

"But I don't want to talk to him, I don't even want to get to know him at all, come on let's go get our food~" Soonyoung says in a whiny tone, pulling on the end of Jihoon's uniform shirt.

"Just go without me, I'll meet you down there in a bit" Jihoon explains and Soonyoung deeply sighed.

"Fine, whatever" Soonyoung says in a groan, turning around and walking out of the classroom to get to the cafeteria.

As Soonyoung got to the cafeteria and got his food, a couple of people from his class then come up to him and says in a chuckle "whoops" before pushing Soonyoung so he fell and his lunch was spilled all over the floor.

Soonyoung looked at his spilt lunch and then back at the people who had pushed him and sighed deeply. "We had good things for lunch today too" Soonyoung says in a sigh, getting up and putting his tray away, storming out of the cafeteria.

As Soonyoung was walking up the stairs to go to the classroom, Jihoon and Seokmin were coming down and Soonyoung then says "Jihoon, could you share some of your lunch with me?"

"Oh I was told to show Seokmin around the school now, why do you want me to share my lunch?" Jihoon asks, looking at Soonyoung a little confused.

"It's nothing...go show him around" Soonyoung says, continuing to walk up the stairs and Jihoon still had a confused expression on his face. Jihoon continued to walk down the stairs while Seokmin looked up the stairs Soonyoung stormed up of and thought something to himself which made him chuckle.

Yay I updated and yes DK is another character now being put into this fan fiction! Drama starts to happen as time goes by and you'll see what I mean in the next couple of chapters. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and thank you for reading!
