The next morning Alison told Alex and Katrina about her dream. "It sounds just like you being paranoid." Said Alex as she was making toast. All of the kids were in their best outfits and had to be on their best attitude. "Don't listen to her, Alison. She has had to much healthy bread." "For your information, Kat, I am just a healthy person!" "Ya sure." "Hey they are here!" Came Sarah's voice. "We can do this." They all said.
"Welcome to Firefly Orphanage!" Said Miss Crabapple. "These kids are so happy for all of you to be here! Please take a look at all of these wonderful kids!" Voices were wandering and Alex was looking proud as ever. While Alison and Kat were just standing there.
"I will take this one!", said a bright voice. Everyone looked that way and it was Alison. "Me? Why not any of the youngsters?" "My name is Leah Marck and I would be delighted for you to join my family!" "Alright then I will just need you to sign some papers.", stated Miss. Crabapple. "But-!", Alison started to protest.
"You can't go!", Alex said. "But I was chosen. So obviously, I have to." Kat was quiet.
"Don't worry we will see each other again. And what would be great if we all got to go to the same school! And it's not like I have to go to another school!" "It still won't be the same.", murmured Kat. "I know it won't, but I can't say no!" "Have fun. And maybe you can write!" "You don't even know this family!", screamed Kat. Then she ran upstairs. "She will be alright.", reassured Alex. "Ya. Maybe. Listen I hope you both get adopted."
Alison ran upstairs to talk to Kat before she had to go. "Kat? Are you ok?" "Why- why wouldn't I?", she started to get over crying. "Listen, I can't stay here for the rest of my life. You understand right?" "Ya I know. We are going to miss you though."
"You will get adopted. We will see each other again! I have to go but we will see each other! Bye!" "Bye!" They hugged and off Alison went after she packed up all of her stuff.
"Are you ready to go?", asked Leah in her cheery voice. "Umm I guess. Where is the rest of your family?" "They are at the house." "Ok well let say goodbye to Alex and we can go." "We have no time to waste." "But-" "Nope let's go!" "Alex!" Leah grabbed Alison's arm and left. "Alex! We will see each other again!"
"Alison! We didn't even get to say goodbye!" Off they went.
"I didn't even get to say goodbye to her! My sister!", said Alison beginning to cry. "Do you really think I care?", said a voice that was way lower than that voice that she had before. "Because I don't. Now shut up!" "Who are you?" "What do you mean? Oh you mean the voice ya. I use a voice modulator to help change it." "What's your really name?" "It's Leah Marck. That I didn't lie about."
They drove through the countryside and say many beautiful sights. But there was a sight that Alison would never forget, the image of her new home.
