this is no cinderella & prince charming love sequence, where they meet, fall in love and get married followed by happily ever after. no.
it's much more similar to its original version of cinderella, the more tragic storyline, more blood, gore and gangs — like romeo and juliet, but the one with leonardo dicaprio. of course this might mean that our protagonists are meant to fall in love — they aren't. they aren't destined for one another, they aren't soulmates and they aren't going to live happily ever after as long as they're together. they aren't even supposed to be a hundred feet from each other, but, I suppose, that was what happened in romeo & juliet.
then again, everything is not what it seems.
