Leah's p.o.v

"Leah, Leah! Wake up!"

"Huh wah?" I say waking up slowly.

"Your phones be ringing for like, the past hour." Christina says handing it to me. "It was in your coat."

"Thanks." I say taking the flip-phone out I her hand. The only reason my mom gave it to me was for situations, like this.

"Crrraaaaapppp." I said as I flipped it open. "Hello"? My voice coming out way more weaker than I wanted it to.

"Where the crap are you?" A loud (probably drunk) voice slurred from the other side.

"Uh, I'm...it's uh.." Ok what was I supposed to say? That I'm in one of the most fanciest apartments in New York and that I'm staying with a YouTube star? Right, she'd TOTALLY believe that. "I'm staying with someone."

"Right. You think I'm that stupid, do you? You know what, you can stay in your imaginary world, I didn't want you to come back anyway. Less mouths to feed." I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

"Mum, I-"

"Nah shut up. I don't want your lazy butt back here. You and those other 'children' where nothing but waste of space. Who ever your staying with won't want you there for ever. I never want to see you again!" I could here her grind her teeth as she said the last sentence.

I closed the phone and sighed. I should be happy, but honestly, it's not like Christina's gunna want us to stay with her forever. She was just being nice.

"Hey Leah, what's wrong?" Christina asked. I looked up and she had her arms stretched out. "Need a hug?"
She asked.

I couldn't help it. I've never been offered a hug before.
