My Best Friend's Brother (on hold)

~ Jayden's pov ~
" Nope, just wanted to see if you were awake" he said before leaving. Once he left I got up and went downstairs. " Dang Jayden. Ever heard of pants? " asked Hunter. I hit him. "Hunter watch it" said mom. I smirked. After we finished breakfast Hunter and Brandon left. "When do I start school?" I asked my mom. "Monday" She responded. It was Friday so I had today and the weekend till then.

I went to the living room and watched tv basically all day. It was 3:45 and Brandon walked through the door. "Where's Hunter?" I asked. "Lacrosse practice." He said. "Mom" I yelled. She walked into the living room. " I wanna do lacrosse" I said. "Okay tryouts are Wednesday" she said. I love lacrosse. I was the captain of my team back in Florida.

Hunter walked in with Zach. "Still haven't learned to put pants on have you?" Asked Hunter. "It's okay I like it that way" said Zach. Hunter hit his shoulder. "Give me a pair of sweatpants and I will" I said. "Don't you have your own?" He asked. "Yah but I wanna wear yours" I said. " why don't you wear Brandon's? Your already wearing his sweatshirt" said Hunter as he laughed.

"Fine I'll just stay in my spandex" I said. "Okay I'll go get u a pair. We don't need him starting at your ass" Hunter said referring to Zach. Hunter came back down and handed me a pair of sweatpants. "Thanks" I said. I put them on over my spandex and sat back down. Hunter sat down next to me. I unlocked my phone and went on Instagram. Hunter took my phone. "Give it back" I whined. He took a selfie a posted it on Instagram, captioning it Hacked by the best brother 😈💯. Once it was posted he gave me my phone back.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I went and sat down next to Brandon. He seemed upset. "What's wrong?" I asked concerned. "Nothing" he said. I grabbed his hand and we walked into my room. "Start talking" I said. He stayed quiet for a minute.

"Allie." He said. "Is that the girl you were texting yesterday. He nodded.  "Okay, so what about her?" I asked. "Well I asked her to be my girlfriend yesterday. She said no and to never talk to her again" he said. "Wow that's low." I said. "Well she obviously wasn't the right one for you. You can do so much better. Don't worry about her." I said. He hugged me. "Thanks" he said. "Anytime" I said.

We walked back downstairs. I went and sat back down by Hunter. Zach left while we were upstairs.

- Monday Morning -

My alarm went off. I groaned and rolled over shutting it off. I got up and took a shower. When I got out I got dressed. I dried my hair then curled it. I applied my makeup and went downstairs.

I sat down at the table with my brothers. We ate breakfast and then mom drove us to school. My mom parked the car and she walked with my to the office. Brandon and Hunter went there separate ways.

We were talking to the principle when this really pretty girl came in. "Sydney this is Jayden" said the principle. I waved and she smiled. "Sydney please show Jayden around" said the principle. She nodded and we walked to the hall. I showed her my schedule and she led me to first period, which was science. I walked I and the teacher introduced me to the class. I went and sat down in the empty seat.

- at lunch -

I got my lunch and started to look for Hunter and Brandon. I didn't find them. "Hey come sit with me" said Sydney. I agreed. I was a little upset cause Brandon said he would sit with me at lunch. But I mean he's probably just late. I was talking to Sydney when I saw Brandon. He saw me and then quickly sat down with his friends. "That was weird" I thought to myself. I ignored it and continued to talk to Sydney.

- End of the day -

I was supposed to meet Brandon at my locker but he never came so I walked to my moms car alone. I got in the front seat and just sat there. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing" I said. Brandon walked out laughing with his friends. He got in the car and stopped laughing. We drove home and I went to my room. I tried not to slam my door but I did. Oh well.

I didn't leave my room till Hunter got home. I heard him downstairs so I went down. He saw I was upset so he hugged me. I went back upstairs and changed into my spandex and Brandon's sweatshirt. I heard a knock on my door.
"Can I come?" Hunter asked. "Yes" I said. He came in and sat next to me. He just hugged me for a minute. "Now tell me what's up" he said.
