Final Chapter?

Yo guys! This is the final chapter............ of this fanfic. Im going to make another book, but not yet. Im gonna finish up the Nashi One-Shot series, and update a few chapters of my novels (Falling for a Demon and Hunter and Huntress Association) before starting the new fanfic. So yeah read this chapter and then if you wanna you can check out other stories Im working on. I've had a lot of fun making this, so thanks for being loyal to this fanfic and for reading!

Erza's POV

The week was drawing to an end, and we had already started to clean the hotel room. We went back to the beach yesterday and noticed that the boys, except for Romeo, Jellal, and Gray, were acting strange. Natsu never let go of Lucy, Gajeel followed Levy where ever she went (Besides the bathroom), and Laxus always had his eyes on Mira. Alex had left to go with Haruniki on his travelling. "I'm glad we had this vacation, I really needed it," Lucy said finishing up folding the bathroom towels. "I'm sure we could all agree with you," I said. "Juvia has enjoyed her time with her friends and her Gray-sama," Juvia said, leaving the leftover food on the counter. Wendy and Levy came into the living room and sat on the couch. "We finished picking up the rooms. Now all we have to do is pack," Levy said.

"That's good," I replied,"Has anyone seen Mirajane?"

"Mira told Juvia she was going to the boy's room to," Juvia gestured with her fingers," 'help' the boys clean up." Wendy shook her head,"Poor guys." All of us laughed. It wasn't but a few minutes later when Mira came in with a worried expression. "What is it, Mira?" Lucy asked looking up from her papers. "There's something wrong with the dragon slayers," Mira said worriedly. "But I'm fine," Wendy said paying attention to the conversation. Mira shook her head,"No, not you. The boys........ the color of their eyes have changed." Everyone was silent, and stared at the she-devil.

"What?" Levy asked with a suprised expression. Mira nodded,"Natsu's are gold, Gajeel's are sapphire blue, and Laxus' are red."

"That's weird," I said. I turned to Levy,"Did you bring any books Levy?" She nodded,"I always pack random books from the guild to read on long trips or jobs." 

"Good, could you go see if you brought any on dragons or dragonslayers?" I asked, going to the couch. The petite girl nodded and went to her's and Juvia's room. "They're moods are completely different, too. Natsu was calm and quiet, and didn't say anything unless someone started to talk about Lucy, then he would get all mad thinking that they were trying to "take her away from him" or something

"Then Laxus was picking a fight with anyone who touched him besides me because I had to pull him off of Jellal earlier. Gajeel was completely different, he was nice to everyone and actually listened to me," Mira said in complete shock. I was honestly shocked, too, because Gajeel didn't really listen to anyone besides Levy. "That doesn't sound like any of them at all," Levy said entering the conversation,"I brought a book about dragons, but that's all I had." I nodded,"This'll have to do." Levy hopped on the couch in between Erza and Wendy. Mira, Lucy and Juvia hovered above them, as Levy used her quick-reading glasses to flip through the book. "Aha. Here it is," Levy said and stopped the pages on the begining of a chapter,"Mating Season."

We stared at the title with wide eyes then Lucy spoke up,"WHAT?!" Levy was suprised too,"I know it sounds crazy, but it talked about the symptoms and stages and the first one matched what was happening with the guys." Wendy grabbed Levy's shoulders,"Does this affect me?!"

I shook my head,"No, it says you're too young to mate yet."

"What does the book say about Mating Season?" Mira asked. "I'll just read the whole section anout the stages and process," Levy said and looked down to the book.

Dragons go through a certain time period called Mating Season. This is the time for them to find their soul mates or their forver partner. When and if they find their mate, the process will start immediatly. This normally lasts about a week. Here are the stages of Mating Season:

Stage 1- Personality change.
This stage normally lasts shorter than the others, about a day. They're personality normally changes to the opposite. An example would be a quiet person who didn't bother anyone would change into a talkitive, and social person. When this stage begins, the dragon's features will start to change one at a time. Their eyes will change colors first.

"So that explains the sudden personality and eye color change," Juvia stated. Eveyone nodded. Levy continued.

Stage 2: Showing off
Even though dragon's are already scalely and strong, they're dragon abilities will be inhanced strongly. Their claws and teeth will be sharper, scales will be thicker, and they're attacks will be ten times stronger. The dragons will use this time to impress or to protect. This stage mostly lasts for 3 days exactly.

"So technically speaking, the dragon slayers will go into to a hardcore version of Dragon Force," Levy said. We all nodded.

Stage 3: Emotions grow stronger
In this stage, the dragons emotions are hightened. Their senses will also be hightened. This stage lasts for about 2 days.

Stage 4 (The final stage): Mating
The dragon's scales and teeth will start to turn back to normal, but that doesn't mean the season is over. Once they think the time is right, then the dragon will take it's mate to a place that is important to them and "mark them". They mark their mates by sinking their fangs into their necks and levaing a symbol that represents him or her.

"So pretty much they are going to be like girls during their time of the month, but more intense?" Mira asked. "That's what it sounds like," I replied and them pointed at a label at the bottom of the page,"What's that?"

Levy looked at it and read aloud:

WARNING-
The dragons can not be sepparated from their mates for too long or they can go into a state of depression and hide away for the 3rd stage, but if this proccess is to happen (even though it rarely happens) the chosen mate is affected as well.

"Well that's great," Lucy said sarcasticly. "I wonder who wrote the book," Wendy said, and Levy continued,"It didn't have an author. Just the title."

Natsu POV

I knew Mating season was starting because Gajeel and Laxus were acting conpletely different. I knew I was too because I havn't started to fight with Gray yet. Although I have tried to fight Gajeel because he called Lucy "Bunny girl" again. I guess it just annoyed me. Their eyes were different too. I'm just worried about Lucy, she doesn't know about it as far as I'm concerned and I'm not sure if she should know. I sighed and walked to mine and Romeo's room. I looked at my self in the mirror and saw my eyes were golden now, and my canines were sharper now. "It's only a matter of time before we go into our dragon mode," I muttered and layed down on my bed,"I'm just gonna take a nap."

Third POV

The girls decided to go tell Makorav about Mating Season. Once they showed him the book and told them about who was gonna mate with who, he said,"We should get back to the guild and try to prepare immediatly. If they get too violent, I have a place for the dragonslayers to be kept." They nodded and Mira said,"Me and Erza can go and get the boys." Makorav nodded,"I'll get the others."

They went back to the guild to prepare for the Mating season.
