When I uttered these words, I meant each one of it.
When I uttered these words, I could imagine the leaves of the trees rustling in sheer agreement.

But,
When I uttered these words, I saw the sun grinning at the absurdity of it,
For I was Pluto
So many miles apart
A tiny dot
A teeny freckle
In the vastness of the universe.

How I can take years and centuries to creep and crawl...

To him I was so inconsequential
He thought I was conning it.

It was hard for the sun to understand the fact,
If determined I can achieve anything,
Anything at all.

The sun thought it was easy to ignore my statement,
As he sensed that it was all a huge hoax
And that's where he went extremely wrong.

It wasn't
And it's never going to be.

 I don't ever lie.

 I am the planet
Stuck in the orbit
Rotating and revolving in the same breath
Trying so hard to reach the sun
When he is planets apart from me.

The ever shining ball of fire
Mocking me
Challenging me
From where he stays put
Baiting me with all his shine and glitter
Momentarily blinding me;

But I don't give up
And I don't have any plans to.

He is who I will always be
Inclined to;
And he is who I will always
Look up to.

Until my ruin
And until his
This is where I am always going to be.

Rotating and revolving
In the same breath.

Trying with everything I have
With everything I am made up of
I will always revolve around you
As I rotate
My Cynosure.
