"When the ends of the invisible cord tugs at the corners of your lips, the one looped to it tugs at my heart."

***

 It's strange
How when I see your lips pulling apart
I feel a tug within

This tug
Then sets off
To let a series of echoes
Only I can hear

"Let me,
Let me go
Let me,
Wedge myself into that tiny gulf
Where his heart and rib cage meets
Let me,
Let me reside in there
Where he can feel me,
Where I can feel him"

My heart
Can blather all it want

I don't want more
Or less

A tug
Is all I need.

A tug at the corners of your lips,
By the invisible cord,
Looped around my heart

You smile
A tug at my heart
You realize so
You smile more

And so it goes on
This
Silly
Cycle
I love so much.
