Jade listened at the top of the stairs to the conversation downstairs. She knew what was happening. She just wasn't prepared for it. Her mum and her new boyfriend or whatever they were, Were in the middle of an argument that was slowly getting louder. Jade heard the sound of her walkie making sounds. She got up from her crouched position and quietly walked into her room, Shutting the door behind her softly.

"Agent Warrior come in"

Echoed around the room from the table. Jade grabbed it and opened her curtains.

"What's up?" Jade asked looking over at Belle's house where Jamie currently was.

"Just saying good night" Jamie replied with a hushed voice. Jade simply giggled despite hearing the shattering of a glass downstairs.

"Well that's very nice, I'm just next door if you need me to bring you anything" Jade reminded her brother like she had done when he left.

"I know, Well I gotta go, I love you" Jamie replied. Jade smiled and said she loved him too before Jamie signed off and Jade was left in a weird silence. It was quiet. Too quiet. Jade opened her windowsill to let the warm breeze in before lighting up the balcony with a simple camp light. She placed it on the table in the corner and walked out of her room. Jade jogged down the stairs and slid into the kitchen. Freezing only when she realized the fight was still happening but it looked more like a similiar situation she had been in with Todd. It seems they hadn't noticed she was there so she took in the situation. Her mum looked frightened(for the first time ever) and tired. Let's call him..Mr Suit was looking pissed off and aggravated. Looks like I know who's side I'm on, She thought. Stepping into the midst of it. She flashed Mr Suit a smile as she glabbed a glass of water.

"Munchikin why don't you go back up to your room" Her mum spoke in a stern voice that made Jade roll her eyes. Jade could see right through that and I think her mum knew that because she sighed.

"Jamie bids goodnight" Jade told her mum making a small smile appear on her mums face.

"Look kid, bugger off" Mr suit almost ordered.

"Sorry but 1 you aren't my dad and 2 only my mum can tell me what to do" Jade commented with a sly smirk on her face as her mum replied with

"Not like you listen anyway"

Which made Jade chuckle and say 'Touche'. Mr Suit had gone back to being angry as he shot Jade a glare before moving in on her mum. Jade sighed loudly and dropped her water bottle back in the fridge. She stepped in between Mr Suit and her mum making Mr Suit stare at her.

"No more than a meter away when you are having an argument" Jade filled in the silence crossing her arms over her chest as a growl of some sorts rippled through his throat.

Things quickly got out of hand from then on. Mr suit tried to get through, Jade blocked his path as he continued to puke insults and Mum tried to stick up herself and her kids. Somehow she had gotten pushed aside as they continued to argue. She saw the familiar signs as Mr suit's fists clenched and he drew his hand back as mum finally called him what he truely was. As he began to swing forward Jade caught his arm and drew him to the ground in Shawn's rendition of the crossface. Which is where you lock your legs around one of their arms and clasp your hands right under their nose. He was now yelling in a high pitched voice for Jade to let go. He was apologizing furiously and Jade had barely tightened her grip. Jade adverted her gaze from Mr Assface to her mum to see she was filming.

"Mum what the hell?" Jade asked before laughing a little.

"Well I wanted to remember my daughter saving me from assault and uh yeah" Her mum explained making Jade laugh a little before looking back down at Mr Assface.
