Chapter 1 - What to do at the beginning?

So, you have created your character as well as a world (Hopefully a small or large world, depends on if you want to explore a huge amount of land.). First thing lot of guides tell you to do, is to build a house, and even though that is the best thing to do, i recommend you explore your surrounding first, look for Life Crystals (To increase your maximal health.) and for some accesories (Anglet, Climbing Claws or Climbing Shoes will be the first accesories you'll probably find.)
Your starting health is always 100, but with 15 Life Crystals, you can get your health to 400 (Maximal in Pre-Hardmode). There was a bug in the game where on the mobile version, you could use a Life Crystal, enter your inventory and drag the Life Crystal back in your inventory few frames before it's gone. Speedrunners on mobile could use this trick to get to max health real quick for boss rush, but sadly, the bug has been patched.
The second thing you wanna do, is make better tools, cuz those Copper tools you start with, ain't gonna be helpful later in the game. It's best to make Iron, Silver or Gold tools. Later on, after you fight one of two alternate bosses (Depends on if you have gotten Corruption or Crimson biome) you will make a better pickaxe from the material they drop.
3rd thing you want to do, is to make a bow and set of armor. Best armor to make is Silver or Tungsten, bow can be made from any material.
Another thing you would want to make is a fishing pole and get a bug net from Merchant (NPC), who will sell a Bug Net for 25 silver coins. Catch some worms or grasshoppers with a Bug Net and then go fishing. The fishs you catch can be used for potions or for quests from Angler (Another NPC). You can also catch a crate with a fishing pole with fishing power of 20%. The crates vary from wooden to gold and the crates can drop ores, bars, potions and accesories.
After you feel like you're ready to inhabit your world with NPCs, start building house. And if it is night, hide in the house for a night, cuz lot of tough enemies are coming out and they are looking for their meal, which is you....
