"Where are you taking me?" Flora asked in a tone that seemed more annoyed than curious. Her feet were beginning to tire from the long walk Jack had forced upon her. To make matters worse she was blindfolded and her midday nap was rudely interrupted.

"Just trust me, you will love it." Jack gripped Flora's hand tighter.

"Jack, I don't enjoy being a hostage and I very much don't like surprises. Besides, I have to continue my training. I don't have time to blindly walk through the city with you."

"You've been training so much we barely have had any time to enjoy each other's company. Listen, what would you do if today was your last day with me? In the city? On the planet?"

"Don't ask me stupid questions. Get this blindfold off my face and tell me where we are going right now or I will use you instead of my training dummy!"

"Wrong! The Flora I know would say--"

"Well you don't know me! You just follow me around like a helpless puppy, and I'm forced to--"

"The carnival!" Jack removed the thick cloth obscuring Flora's vision in a swift motion. Her eyes widened to size of the large Ferris wheel before her.

"What!?" Her jaw dropped and her heart nearly escaped her chest. "This is my favorite place in the entire world! Jack, we gotta get caramel apples, and ride the merry go round, and get tickets for the water gun race, and--" Flora was hopping around speaking so fast that Jack couldn't tell she was speaking English.

"The mighty Madam Flora Jade instantly reduced to a small child at the sight of a few tea cup rides? Oh how the mighty have fallen," He teased.

"Oh shut up! You are killing my new good mood. Be warned that if you do ruin this for me I will punch you in your ear so hard your ear drum will beat at a thousand beats per second."

"It would be worth it to see the mighty Flora in one of those tea cups. I missed seeing your adorable expressions."

"W-what? I can't believe I'm wasting my time with a creepy masochist." Flora looked from Jack's direction to hide her blushing face.

"The only thing to make this date even better is red rimmed glasses."

"Not this again!" She yelled as she stomped her foot to the ground.

All her attention was now focused on Jack while he handed her a golden dipped apple on a stick, which seemed to already have a bite taken out of it. "Hmph. I'm not happy or anything, so don't think you are off the hook."
