Chapter 10.

Sleep over

I walked over to the kitchen to make some late night pancakes. "Hey Liam want some pancakes?" I asked.

"Sure...anything I can help with?"

"You can get the pan and spatula please." I smiled at him. I mixed the flour and water together and put chocolate chips in. I poured the first pancake onto the pan...it was about half the mix. I was making mega pancakes. "Liam it's ready to be flipped." He flipped the pancake pretty good for a beginner pancake maker. "That was pretty good for a beginner!" I winked at him.

"Thanks!" He smiled. After we finished making the pancakes I grabbed the syrup from the cabinet. I also poured two glasses of milk. I set the plates on the table and Liam came up behind me with forks and napkins. I ran back to the kitchen to grab the milk. I sat down at the table waiting for Liam to come out of the bathroom. He eventually came out and sat across from me. "These taste really good Ally!"

"Yeah they do! I love late time snacks!"

"I have to say these are the best pancakes I have eaten!" He smiled at me.

"Thanks but you should be giving yourself a pat on the back you helped to!"

"Yeah but I just flipped the pancakes! You did all the work."

I laughed. "It doesn't matter that much!" I smiled at him. "Want to watch a movie after this?"

"Sure...what do you want to watch?"

"We'll I think Tom and Jerry is on...."

"Sounds great!"

We finished our pancakes pretty quick....what can I say they were AMAZING! "I'll be right back I have to change...."

"Alright I'll wait here!" I felt kinda bad Liam didn't have anything to change into. Oh I'm sure he will be fine. I walked into my room and grabbed my suitcase. I put in blue sweats and a t-shirt. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then I brushed my hair...if i didn't it wouldn't be brush able in the morning. I then went to the closet and grabbed an extra blanket for Liam to use tonight. I walked back towards the living room. "Hey Liam!" He jumped a bit. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you"

"Oh it's fine...you walked out here so quiet I didn't hear you..." I laughed. "Scaredy cat...scaredy cat Liam."

"Oh thanks...your so nice." I just laughed and smiled at him. Liam turned in the television and put in Tom and Jerry. It might seem like a kid show but I enjoy it! "Here Liam." I handed him the blanket to sleep with tonight. "Oh....wait here." I went back to my room in the hotel and grabbed my other pillow and then walked back to the living room. "Here...I forgot the pillow."

"Thanks Ally!"

"No problem!"

I sat next Liam on he couch we were both snuggled into our own blankets while we watched the classic Tom and Jerry. I slowly drifted off....and before I realized it I was sleeping.

I woke up and it was 3:46 in the morning. I was laying on top Liam. Umm well this is awkward....comfortable but awkward. The t.v was still on that's probably what woke me up. It was pretty loud so I grabbed the remote that was on my stomach and shut it off. I slowly and gently started to get off of Liam. "Ouch...." I heard Liam say. Great! I woke him up! "Sorry....did I hurt you?"

"Oh you didn't mean too....you just accidentally kneed me in the...." I interrupted him. "Oh okay I get it." I whispered. He laughed half awake.

"You know you didn't have to get up....you are actually pretty warm!" He smiled at me.

"Thanks...I guess. Well I should get to bed..." I said

"Umm yeah....goodnight." Liam said. His head tilted down. He wouldn't make eye contact with me for some reason.

"Night...." I walked to my room and laid down. The hotel beds were extremely comfortable! I quickly fell back asleep.

BOOM! I woke up to this very loud crashing noise and a flash of light. It was a thunder storm....I didn't know about this. BOOM! I screamed and ran into the living room to see Liam jump up. "Liam...."

"Umm yeah?"

"I have never liked thunder storms...and I...umm....could you lay with me tonight? I mean you don't have to...it's just that Cassie or Lucy would usually be there for me and ya know.... They aren't here."

"Yeah! I have been awake for the past hour listening to the storm. I couldn't sleep!"

"Why didn't you just wake me up?"

"I didn't want to! You were sleeping and I didn't want the storm to freak you out!"

"Liam....your my best friend I would have comforted you..."

"I know I know I just couldn't...."

"Well I'm pretty exhausted...so want to go back to bed....we only have about 4 hours till 9....and you have an interview at noon. "

"Yes! I'm tired." I helped Liam up from the couch and he grabbed his pillow and blanket. I hadn't realized until now he was only in boxers. We walked into my room and both laid down. "This bed is SO comfortable!" Liam said.

"Trust me I know! It doesn't take me long to fall asleep!"

"Night Ally!"

"Liam....."

"Yeah?"

"You know when we kissed earlier....did you really like me or was it just to help me get over Louis?"

"Ally....I do really like you! I have from the beginning....Louis called dibs on you! He really does like you! I don't know what has gotten into him! He wouldn't shut up about you! One time the boys and I had to literally duck tape his mouth shut! He still seemed to talk through it about you! He wouldn't stop talking about how you guys were going on a date on Friday and he was freaking out on what to wear!"

"I think you mean 'did' like me as in past tense! He found a beautiful girl that he can relate to...how can I compete with that and I think the date on Friday is canceled.....he probably forgot!"

"I don't think he did Ally! He wouldn't sto...."

"Liam he was MAKING out with ELEANOR! I don't think he was thinking about the date on Friday with....what's her name? Oh yeah me....Ally! He didn't even chase after me! I don't want one of those 'he goes after her....she after him' romances but it wouldn't have hurt as bad if he just talked to me!"

"I know....Louis made a HUGE mistake! You are just going to have to wait and let destiny do its thing...."

"I know...."

"Night Ally"

"Thanks Liam! Goodnight!"

"Thanks for....?"

I heard him but I was too tired and exhausted from life to respond.
