"Are you crazy? What are you doing?"
-Hiro-----
You walked down the busy streets of San Fransokyo, looking around for a safe place to sleep. But you barely knew this town, and you didn't know about the gangs and bot fighters in the area. After walking for about an hour, 3.5 miles from the bus stop, you came across a dead silent, abandoned part of the city. It didn't look nearly as welcoming as the rest of the city, but you can't really afford to stay there. You walked under the street lights before noticing a dark, small alley. You curiously walked down it, and noticed another walkway to your left. So you walked down there, and walked down the staircase that was at the end of the alley, leading you to a wooden warehouse. You slowly approached the building, noticing the busted down door, thinking that someone was inside.
"Hello?" you called, but all you got in response was the echo of what you said.
You tried this for a few more minutes before deciding that there was no one in there that was going to try and kill you, so you walked further into the warehouse. There was nothing of importance in there. All there really was, was some broken pieces of wood and metal, a few overturned, empty barrels, and an old mattress in the middle of the room.
"How ironic, someone knew I was coming." You said sarcastically.
You walked over to the mattress before moving it into the corner of the warehouse, not wanting to be seen by anyone who approached the warehouse like you did.
You lied down on the mattress, and closed your eyes. Even though you had slept most of the way here on the bus, you were still exhausted from the adrenaline rush you had when you ran away. Plus, it was also past midnight, and you had been walking for over an hour.
You quickly fell asleep, but your dreams were plagued with nightmares.

Your POV:
When I woke up, it was bright outside, and it took me a minute to fully register where I was. After that, I sighed and pulled my hairbrush and a hair-tie out of my backpack, putting my long (H/C) hair into a high ponytail. Afterwards, I hid my backpack in one of the barrels by the back of the warehouse after taking out my jacket, my money, and my iPod. I just needed a walk to take my mind off of things.
As I walked through this high-tech city, I noticed that it had a lot of Japanese culture. I marveled at the sights that could never compare to (H/T). I walked to a park where I saw a lot of children playing on the playground. I smiled, as it reminded me of how I used to play with my friends when I was younger, and how I used to beg my parents to take me outside to the park. It also made me wonder what happened that changed everything.
I walked through the park, and I waved at the little children who waved at me. I decided since I didn't really have anything to do, I could watch them. So I sat on a park bench in front of the playground and watched them play. Then a little girl and boy ran up to me.
"Hello." I said kindly.
"Hi! Do you wanna play with us?" the boy asked.
"Well, what are you playing?" I asked.
"Hide-and-seek!" the girl replied. That used to be my favorite game when I was younger. "Can you be the counter?"
"Ok. How long do you want me to count for?" I asked the both of them.
"30!" they both replied.
"Alright." I covered my eyes and began to count. I couldn't help but smile at the kids as they ran off to hide. Once I made it to 30, I went looking around the playground for the both of them. I found one of them under the slide, but I was still looking for the other one.
"Do you know where he is?" I asked the girl.
"I can't tell you!" she shouted.
I laughed. "Well, you could at least tell me if I'm getting closer or not."
"Ok. You're sort of close." she told me.
I walked away from the playset, and she told me I was even farther away. I walked over to the covered slide, she said I was right there, so the boy must've been in the slide. Sure enough, I peeked my head in the slide and there was his little face.
"Found you." I said cheerfully.
"Aww..." the boy pouted.
Suddenly, a woman caught their attention, and the both looked sad.
"We have to go now..." the girl said sadly.
"It's alright. I'm sure we'll see each other another time." I said optimistically.
"Ok. Bye!" the boy and the girl both shouted as they ran away.
I smiled after they ran off. I reached into my back pocket to grab my iPod, only to find it wasn't there. I checked all of my pockets, and I still didn't find it. Then I looked around and spotted it on the other side of the playground. But as I made my way to it, a very large man picked it up, dusted off the sand and walked away with it.
"Hey!" I shouted. He didn't turn around. Instead, he walked a little faster, and I broke into a sprint as he began running away. "Wait a minute stop!"
I ran through the busy crowd on the sidewalk, chasing after this large man. Why couldn't he just buy his own? Did he really have to steal one from a teenager?
I was too busy looking right ahead of me that I didn't even see the person in front of me until our heads collided. I landed on my back and sat back up, rubbing my head before remembering that I had just collided with someone. I looked to my right to see a boy about my age with messy black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a navy blue hoodie with a red t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and burgundy trainers with yellow shoelaces. I immediately stood and held out a hand to him.
He looks.. attractive... Gah! No, bad (Y/N)! You dont even know his name!
"Sorry for running into you." I apologized. I looked out into the direction the man had taken off into with my iPod. I sighed. Well... there goes my music.
"It's fine." the boy apologized. He took my hand and stood up. as he grabbed my hand I felt sparks. Something I've never felt before. "I don't mean to intrude or anything, but why were you running?"
"Someone stole my iPod. But now I lost him, and I don't have any music." I explained.
"You could always get another one though, right?" the boy asked.
"I guess..." I trailed off. 'If I somehow got a job and I didn't live in a warehouse.' I added mentally. "Oh. I'm (Y/N) (L/N). What's your name?"
"Hiro. Hiro Hamada."

A/N: Guys, I decided to update this chapter and then tell you this. This is all I really have now, and I'm going to delete what I have of this story right now because I have a completely different approach to this story. Sorry guys but I'm hoping the other version will be better, and it'll be easier for me to think of ideas.
Bye!"
