One day while Chancy is walking down the hall with her friends, one of her dad's guards gets her by the arm and pulls her aside: "Princess," he says to her, "you are coming back with me to Esquire Island. Princess Chancy. You will come with me." She follows him curiously. She's not startled or scared. She's more surprised than anything else. How could she be the lost princess of Esquire Island? Were her mom and dad truly the King and Queen? She'd soon find out.
