I must've fallen asleep during the movie because the next thing I knew Thomas was shaking me awake. It was good to have him back. It was weird too, but mostly good.
"I thought you loved that movie?" he laughed.
"I do but it's also like ten at night so I'm tired."
"Well, my mum just brought up my clothes so I'm gonna shower. You're welcome to continue sleeping. I just thought I'd tell you." I nodded and he left to the bathroom.

After he got out, we talked for forever and caught up on each other's lives. Eventually, his mom came up to tell us it was time for me to go home and that he needed to go to bed. He walked me to the door.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" he asked.
"I have work from noon to five. Other than that I don't have anything planned."
"Great! So come over before work, I'll drive you over there, and then I'll pick you up."
"Sounds like a plan!"
"Where do you work anyways?"
"I'm a waitress at Bridges."
"Pay?"
"Nine an hour." (I'm not from England, I don't know money, this is American money)
"Not too bad..."
"Not all of us get paid a million dollars for one project," I said playfully hitting his arm. He smiled. If he was staying for six months, I wasn't going to be able to let him go again. Who knows the next time he'll visit again? I don't. I had practically been stalking him while he was gone. Everything he told me, I had already known. Plus, Ava and I had become really close so I kept an eye on him that way too. I had missed him way too much and I didn't know if I was going to be able to do that again. It may not have been that hard for him but... it had been almost unbearable for me. I don't think he thought about that.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Sorry, yeah. I'm fine. See you tomorrow. Leave your window unlocked." We hugged and I never wanted to let go.
"See ya, Nat."
"Bye." With that I left, crossing through their backyard to get to my house. I didn't think I was going to be able to utter that word for a more permanent situation. Nope.
