Celestia lay in her bed, thinking about the day. She was happy that she was going to be allies with Togami, over joyed, even. She thought about the trial that lied ahead for them. She hoped that Kirigiri would join there team, or else there was a high possibility that she would discover her. Still, she may be able to over come that detective, with the help of the heir.
Knock, knock, knock.
Celest rolled over and looked at her door. "Who is it?" she yelled, not wanting to get up.
"Byakuya."
Celest's head perked up. "One moment." She said. She put on her hair pieces walked to the door.
"Hello Togami." Celest said. "What brings you here this late at night? It's only 8 hours until the trial, you know."
Togami looked at the clock. "I suppose so." He said, inviting himself into the room. "I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about our alliance, and whether or not we invite Kirigiri."
Celest sat on the side of her bed, and Togami sat next to her. She took a long sigh. "She'll be useful if we get her on the team, but if she says no she'll exploit us. I say, let's not take the risk."
Togami nodded. "Yes," he agreed. "I guess it'll just have to be you and I."c
Celest sighed. "Better than having that idiot Asahina on our team. Hell, even Naegi is stupid."
The two laughed. "You're an amazing human being." Togami said. "And that's the first time I've said that to something else besides a mirror." Celest blushed and looked away.
"You're magnificent, too." Celest said. "I know," Togami said, grinning. Celest chuckled.
"You know what, I take it bad, you're self centered."
"Aw, come on. You know I'm too amazing for my own good."
Celestia reached for his hand and held it.
"I wonder what lies after the trial if we succeed with this plan," Celest said. She turned to Togami, trying to hide the fact that he was blushing.
"Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
"Togami, if I get caught, don't say it was you."
"I can't promise anything."
"It won't be fair, you didn't murder anyone."
"All is fair in love and war, Celestia."
Togami threw an ace on Celestia's lap. "Just so you know, I cheated in our game of war."
Celestia gasped, pretending to be surprised.
"And you still lost."
"Hey, it was my first time."
"Yeah right."
Togami smiled, then leaned in and kissed Celest. Celestia's eyes widened, surprised at the sudden gesture, but kissed him back. After a while, she pulled back and looked up, her red eyes staring into his ocean blue ones.
"Thank you, Togami."
"For what? We haven't won yet."
"For taking me in under your wing. I know its hard for you to accept others."
Togami sighed. "I guess. But you're special."
"And why's that?"
"Because, you're mine."
