"Now go get dressed before I whip u harder." When she said that I ran to my bathroom and locked the door. I sat there and cried hoping to have my family back to how it was before my dad died. When my mom loved and cared for me. After I took a shower I went to my friend Shannon's house. I saw Shannon sitting on her porch talking to Diego. "Hey guys" "hey Kyle" "so have you heard the news!" I looked at Diego confused because I didn't know what he was talking bout. "You Know the MDE contest!" "What MDE contest" "They are having a contest where they pick a winner to come fly out to stay with them for two weeks!" When I heard about that it made me think that could be my way to leave my mom? I looked at my phone to see that it was 5:46 my mom was gonna kill me "hey guys go but I'll see you at school" I hear them yell later Kyle while I was running . when I got home I saw my mom passed out with whiskey bottles on the floor so I slowly made my way up stairs not wake her up and locked my room door I climbed in bed thinking about the contest and what happens if my mom wakes up.
