One Step Closer

Chapter Two

I was peacefully sleeping on my bed when all the sudden I wake up to someone pushing me off my bed. I look up to see my sister and brother they are twins two years older then me. My sisters name is Jayden and my brother is Hayden. They are laughing their buts off right now. I stand up and yell " WHAT THE FREAK? HAYDEN? JAYDEN? WHO DID THAT?"

They both say "me" at the exact same time. I grab both of their legs and pull then to the floor. Hayden quickly gets up and throws me over his shoulder. He runs down the stairs and out the front door. I keep banging in his back for him to let me go but of course it's no use.

Then I see Sean walking down the road. When Hayden is running by him I garb his shoulders scaring him half to death. I hang on tight and slip out of Hayden's grip sending me flying on top of Sean. The thing was Hayden just continued running down the road not even noticing he's not holding me anymore.

When I look down I noticed I was straddling on top of Sean. I could really see his face good now and to tell you the truth he is really not ugly. Then I notice his eyes are nearly popping out of his head right now. I slowly get up and then hold out my hand to help him up. He hesitantly takes it and gets up.

Once he's up I say " Sean I'm sorry about that I just had to get out of my brothers grasp somehow. Do you have any siblings?"

He shakes his head yes and then takes out a piece of paper and writes ' one older and younger brother and a twin brother.'

I form an oh with my mouth and say " wow. You've got it worse then me."

Then he laughs. Wait he's laughing. That's new. So I join in the laughter and say " so Sean you want to go on a walk with me?" He nods his head yes and we start walking.

We walk all the way to Central Park and walk into it. I see a small clearing with no one in it and I walk in and lay down on the grass. Sean slowly walks over and lays down next to me.

" Hey Sean?" I look at him and see him looking back at me. " do you ever feel like you have no meaning? I feel like i'm the mistake child. I mean Jayden and Hayden only get a's and I get b's and c's. Jayden's beautiful and I'm ugly. Jayden and Hayden go to Harvard. Harvard." I can feel the tears rolling down my face. Sean hesitantly takes his hand and lays it on my cheek and wipes my tears off with his thumb.

Then I see him look like he is about to say something. He leaves his hand cupping my face. Then I hear him say " Aqua." I look at him and then he says " you are no mistake. Your very very beautiful."

I smile and then hug him. At first he was frozen but then he snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. We just set like that for I don't know how long. Maybe just maybe mr. Poppy knew what he was doing making us partners.
