Rosella

Prologue

"Waa waa" the baby was laid gently in a cot by a lady.
"Waa waa"
"Hush....." The lady quietly whispered reaching down.
"Waa wa..." The baby slowly calmed down snuggling into the lady's arms.
"Rosella" the lady whispered and walked away.

     12 Years Later

"Rise and shine" the raspy voice of the matron at Crestvale Orphanage said into Dormitory 1.
"Uhhhhhhhh" sighed Rosella.
"Rosella it's time to get up..."
"I'm coming Nora, I'm coming". When Dormitory 1 had finally walked to the breakfast hall the seats were full. Nora, closely followed by Rosella, Charlotte, Rebecca,Olivia, Kara, Mia and Abby.... Dormitory 1
" Girls please sit down at table number 4" the Nurse's voice said. It turned out that table number four wasn't full.
"My favourite... Porridge and syrup... YUM!" Mia said.
"I know right, we never get syrup anymore" Rebecca answered.
"Mmmmmmmmmmm" was all Mia could say.
"I wonder if anyone will be adopted today?" Rosella asked Nora. Nora shrugged at Rosella. However Charlotte answered.
"I think we will because Nurse Alice is standing up".
" So she is.... I wonder who" Rosella questioned. Kara had just left the table to get some more syrup when a voice announced
" Children today is barbecue day where we shall have a barbecue for the lunch."
"Whoops, I thought that was for the adopted... Sometimes she announces them" Charlotte whispered to Rosella. The announcement went on.
" You are all dismissed from breakfast".
" First class, maths" Olivia read allowed from her timetable.
"Ugh, I don't feel like maths today" Abby groaned as they walked down the corridor. The maths corridor was a big corridor that had all the maths classrooms. When they arrived Miss Cornale said
" Following on from last lesson, please get your books out, hurry now." For half an hour the class worked solidly... That was until
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
" Come in" Miss Cornale answered impatiently.
"Sorry for interrupting, but can I please borrow Rosella?"
"Yes, yes, of course"
"Thank you, please carry on with the lesson"
"Humph"
Nurse Alice (the person who had knocked) beckoned Rosella to come out to the corridor.
"Is anything wrong Nurse Alice?" Rosella questioned.
" Well Rosella, a lady has rung up about adopting a 11 to 13 year old girl, Sweet, gentle, kind and so on. Well we thought that you would be the perfect child". Rosella stared.
"You mean leave the orphanage?"
"Well in order to get adopted you must, so yes, I do" Nurse Alice answered kindly.
" Well, I um suppose I um have to, ummm right?"  Rosella murmured.
" Well in some way, yes"
"Oh"
" I am afraid Rosella that you will be leaving tonight". That was the shock that hit Rosella.
"WHAT?! I,I can't, I mean, this is my home and um I,I er, just, um, can't!"Rosella half yelled half talked, shocked.
" I'm sorry Rosella", Nurse Alice said gently, "But it's already been arranged"
"No!!! This just isn't fair,I mean.... Just NO!!!!!!!!".
"I'm really sorry Rosella", but Rosella had burst out crying.
" If you don't want to go back to class this morning that's ok you know. I know this has come as a shock" Nurse Alice said gently.
"That's ok". Rosella said wiping tears away from her eyes.
"Ok then, if you're sure". Rosella watched as Nurse Alice slowly walked away and turned to go back into class...

"YOU'RE LEAVING?!?!" Nora screamed into Rosella's ear.
"Yeah" said Rosella sadly.
"BUT DON'T YOU SEE , YOU CAN'T LEAVE!!!!!!"
"I kind of have to".
"I know you do" Nora answered sadly.... There was a silence.
"Well, I suppose I better start packing..."
"I suppose then".
"Bye guys" Rosella said
"Bye Rosella" everyone chorused.
"Bye"

The crystal ball shimmered in the little light of the darkened room.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! SHE CAN NOT REMEMBER!!!!!! I DEMAND IT!!!!!!!!"
"You can not accomplish that your highness"
"HOW DARE YOU!!!!!! I, THE WORLDS DEMON, CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! DID YOU HEAR ME... ANYTHING!!!!" The demon screeched in his ear.
"Of course your majesty, no harm meant your majesty, sorry your majesty, please, have mercy your majesty". The demon seemed not to hear him.
"I SHALL MAKE HER FORGET!!!!!! SHE WILL NEVER REMEMBER!!!!" She screamed..."NEVER!!!!!!!!"
Lightning shot from the demons trident hitting out at the roof. The servant cowered behind a chair. The Lightning went on and on shooting out from the tip of her trident. Until suddenly it stopped.
"Yessssssssssss" she hissed. "The heir can now rein as the new demon and we, demons, shall rule the world" she started to cackle manically....
" MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!"

Rosella suddenly started. Her head jolted forward and went back to normal. She rubbed her head with her hands.
" Are you ok Rosella," Nora asked.
"Yeah, but, who are you?"
