I wake up with hair all up in my face. Just like old times. I push her over a bit and she stretched her arms and nearly knocks me out. "Jay move. I'm leaving. Don't tell the doctor." I whisper grabbing my bag of shampoos and thing they give you for hygiene.
"What do you mean "LEAVE". Where are you gonna go you don't have any family that likes you," She says yawning.
She is right. Nobody likes me except Janae.
" I'll live on the streets. Sell some drugs. Live like a thug. If that's what that that hag and her sisters call me." I say looking for a bag or something to carry all of this.
"Shay you might get killed! Or taken as like on of those sluts on the street!"she says eyes getting bigger as she rants on and on and on.
" Please I'm to good to be a hoe on the street." I say looking out the hospital window. Opening it look how high we are.
"How many feet you feet you think it is if I jump?" I say smirking and Janae.
"Eh I thing I'll take the elevator. I'm borrowing your beanie!" I say closing the door. I needed a disguise to make sure nobody stops me. I mean any one can remember a girl with teal tips.
I rush through the halls and take the stairs.
Nobody takes the stairs.
As I leave the lobby nobody notices me. So far in the clear. I walk through the busy side walk and push and shove. These Philly streets. I think about the money I need and where to get it. My mothers bank account. I look like Janae so I can get some money.
My mother got Facial Verification for her bank accounts. Janae was one of them.
I look for the nearest T.D bank. Found one on the next block.
I walk in and I look at the setting. Briefcases, suits and regular hair colors. Who is gonna believe me? I adjust my black beanie, (Janae's beanie) and make sure my hair doesn't show. I walk up to a teller. He stares at my face in awe. Awkward.
"Ms. Williams! Haven't see you in a while! How's the mother?" he says smiling like there's no tomorrow.
"She just wonderful! Um ahh" I say talking like a valley girl. That's how Janae talks. I look at his name tag. "Jacob! I would like all the money from the emergency bank account." I say.
"Okay Ms. Williams we just need your security code right here" he says and hand me a slip with little boxes. Umm what is it. Of course Janae's birthday. Well it's mine too. I scribble 7898and Janae's signature on the paper.
"Okay Ms.Williams but, I must ask what's the emergency?" he says before getting the money out the safe. Great. What do fake and rich people care about other than money? Pets!
"Oh poor Fifi got into my Godiva chocolates! They need to pump her stomach! You know how much I care about Fifi!" I say hoping he took the bait. He makes a face and gets a little envelope.
He gets a little green book bag and slides the money in the front pocket. "For our valued customers. Have a nice day!" he waves as I walk a way.
Forever 21 here I come.
